What is CKworkshop?
In a nutshell it's a shop dedicated to 1:6 goodies, props and diorama furnishings!
We try to keep costs down so that everyone can have a chance to have nice pieces in their dioramas and displays--it's not always easy, but we try! ;)
We actively try to upcycle and recycle materials like fabrics, leather and metals--it's important to us that when we get something like that that it won't go to waste. We try to source our supplies ethically and with nature in mind.
Who Are the People of CKworkshop?
Erica:
I started the shop in 2009 by making some 1/6 scale food. It kind of branched out from there into 1/6 furniture, art, books, clothes and even some customized dolls! The very best thing about having opened CK Workshop here on Etsy is the fantastic people I've met through it and the great friends I've made. I never expected to find that, and in finding like minded people--a real treasure.
Mark:
I've decided to join in the madness in January 2014 and begin making furniture and props for people (other than Erica :P ) to enjoy. I've got 25+years of real world design experience and more than 30 in professional model making. I enjoy using mixed materials and doing casting work as ways to make the items I develop and design. I love bananas and oatmeal as much as Erica loves dolls ;)
