I graduated from the University of York in 1999 with a BSc(Hons) in Biology. Since then I've been bumbling around in the science world and exploring my creativity.

In 2006 I started sewing for something new to do. I borrowed my mum's old sewing machine for a few years before she finally demanded it back. I took the leap and bought my own lovely machine thinking that I'd found my 'thing'.

I opened my first Etsy store in 2008 originally making quirky felt fruit with happy faces. Soon after followed a range of sewing accessorise, my Happy Planets and other nerdy science things. In 2009 our first little munchkin was born. It was then that I started making baby things. I couldn't find any nice bibs in the shops, they were either too girly or too boy themed so I thought I'd make my own! After lots of 'Oooo's' and 'Ahhhh's' from new mum friends I started my baby range and as my children have grown so has my range. All designed to fill the gap of the 'I could do with a.......'

I love to sew and take inspiration from my loves. Science, my young family and sewing, of course. Making cute and practical baby and kids accessorise, fun felt sciencey things and art felt pincushions and sewing accessories to brighten your sewing basket.
