Claire Quilter was raised with the Marshall Field's credo of customer service: Give the lady what she wants. (Gentlemen, too.)

If by chance something does not suit your purposes, exchanges will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Please contact us within 5 days after you have received you purchase if an exchange is necessary. The item must be exchanged promptly and in the same condition it was sent/received.

Exchanges are not accepted for custom orders. Claire Quilter will happily work with you to modify any custom piece to suit your needs.
Claire Quilter currently accepts paypal. If you prefer another method of payment, please send a message to CQ to make arrangements. Once an item is sold, payment must be received within three business days.
Items are shipped USPS Priority Mail for domestic orders ( 2-3 business days) and shipped USPS First Class Mail for International orders (5 -10 business days). All items priced over $100 will be insured. International customers are responsible for any tariffs or customs duties.

If you would like your item more quickly, orders may be shipped via FedEx for an additional charge. If you live in the Chicago are, local delivery may be arranged.

Additional policies and FAQs
Is your purchase a gift? Claire Quilter products arrived beautifully boxed. Please send a note to CQ for custom options.

Claire Quilter believes in using quality fabrics. All fabrics and batting are 100% cottons, linens, or silks, unless otherwise stated in the item's description. CQ makes each item individually, on her trusty pair of vintage sewing machines. All quilt bindings are hand-stitched. Your item is a unique creation and may vary a bit in overall measurements, etc.

Do you see an item you adore, but would like it in a different size or color? Would you like pillows to match the quilt you just bought? Claire Quilter will do her best to make it so. Please contact CQ with a description of what you would like and she will arrange for a design and project quote.

Quilts and housewares should be used. For the best-loved items, seams may ravel or hole may appear. CQ's sister spent years wearing her childhood quilt around as a poncho because it had a big hole in the middle of it. CQ will happily repair any purchase, free of charge, for the first year after purchase. Ship the item to me and CQ pays return shipping.

For any items older than that, or any well-loved quilt, please contact Claire Quilter for a repair quote.
