Returns and exchange details
If there is a problem with your order, BEFORE you post your review (because occasionally shipping mistakes do occur) please let's take a look at the situation and we will discuss the policies below:

1. Please provide a photo of the problem with your first communication via the Etsy Messaging System. DO NOT EMAIL....the Etsy message system is very user friendly and the only way we will respond to you.

2. All sales are considered final unless I have sent the wrong product as the majority of our products are custom cut specifically for you. Wrong product shipped see Error in Shipping #4 policy below.

3. We are not responsible for missing packages marked delivered within the tracking system. Please check tracking and contact your local post office, neighbors, family members if your package is missing in action. IF not found file a police report for theft. Maintain a good relationship with your carrier in the event your package won't fit in your box and develop a system for safe secure deliveries. These packages always seem to show up somewhere!
PLEASE stay on top of your orders. I recommend signing up for text updates on any order to be updated on it's progress. We are not and cannot be responsible for the speediness or lack there of of the USPS, but I work with my customers when the need arises. I highly encourage Priority shipping options for the most secure packaging and insurance on your order.

3. Error in shipping?? Find your order in your account and send us a convo from that link and include the following information:
a. You must contact me within 3 days of receipt and include a picture of the entire order along with a picture of the shipping label as this information assists us in this process. Pictures can be sent via an Etsy convo. Do not contact us after this window.
b. In most cases you must return the product shipped in error. If return is required I will explain the process case by case.
c. Damaged product must also include a picture of the damaged packaging for the claims we make (no exceptions).

4. CANCELLATIONS: 1 Hour is a short window I know, but I often times ship right away as I am in the shop every day with occasional exceptions. I respond quickly to convos regarding product questions so reach out if you have a question BEFORE placing your order! I would prefer to hash things out prior to investing the time, materials, and money into cutting, packaging, and purchasing labels.

About Product:
The natural occurring nuances in leather cord and sheets such as marks and creases are just that and not considered defective. Cut goods are considered custom orders and are not eligible for return or exchange. If you are unsure of the color, I suggest ordering a small amount before committing to a larger quantity as cut goods are not returnable. Please reach out in the form of an Etsy convo if you have a question or proposal as shades can vary from spool to spool.
1a. Natural dye leather colors can vary from spool to spool. These colors are not clear, this is a distressed look and the leather shows through. IF you are unsure regarding please message me or order a small amount before committing to larger quantities or order opaque and metallics for true color and consistency from spool to spool.

REFUNDS: Forced refunds are against Etsy policy and if a product is returned without prior communication and authorization it is our discretion how to handle. Shipping charges either way are not refundable. We will also deduct a 12% re stocking fee to compensate us for the time to process the return. Again case by case and communication is the key to resolution if there is a problem. Items shipped with Free Shipping are charged a 17% restocking fee if returned for any reason.


Handcrafted items with subtle nuances and color variations given the differences in monitors are not considered defects. I photograph multiples to give you an idea of the nuances you might expect in unique handcrafted items.
Payment
You may pay with the card of your choice registered to your account. Etsy handles financial questions so if you have one please reach out to them directly. Sellers do not have access to change or help with payment issues.

It is how I communicate with you in the event of a question or problem with your order such as an out of stock or discrepancy which occasionally occurs. Your shipment can be delayed and I will not be held responsible for such delay if you do not respond to a message or an attempt to reach you via email. This is a time consuming costly matter to me.
I do not always include a receipt in your package. You may access one if needed via your Etsy account.
Shipping
Opt for Priority Shipping Upgrade
We do not have built in to the costs priority or insurance upgrades.
Priority upgrade benefits:
1. FASTER delivery in most cases, but is not guaranteed.
2. Your order is INSURED for $100
3. Packaging is secure and eliminates costly delays. This is our preferred method of shipping as there seems to be few if any issues when we ship with this method.

Due to so many changes I have made the decision to no longer ship outside of the United States. If you have purchased from me before you may inquire and I may make an exception.

My packaging is secure...all items are packaged in a cello bag with a product card.
I strive to ship all ClassicElements orders within 24 - 48 hour from the time payment is received. I will notify customers if I deviate from this standard.

Additional policies and FAQs
Many of the items are discounted based upon quantity selected within the drop down box. We are offer full spools of leather in some options which is a great way to save if you are in production mode, however please consider purchasing a smaller cut to see if the material suits your needs. Do you need a larger quantity.... message me for pricing.
We charge a restocking fee for returned items to offset the cost of the multiple administrative steps required to handle such.

Returns where shipping was free: 17%
