Hi. I’m T. Anne Hawkins and I am trained as a psychologist and have spent years observing and making use of connections and aesthetics in the natural world, relationships and art. I have been throwing clay since 2014 and trained with gifted teachers at ZENCLAY studio (#zenckaystudentforlife). Recently, along with my son I have been learning to create stained glass pieces. I’m especially curious about the fusion of pottery and stained glass.
Ben Hawkins is an engineering student at West Virginia University where he has learned to respect the process over the outcome, precision, and the “math“ and design skills that anchor his contemporary stained glass work. His mom likes to think he learned the art of the process and his appreciation of vibrant colors and the textural movement inherent in the glass from her. He disagrees with this hypothesis.
