Every piece of flameware that I have purchased from Clay Coyote is wonderful. Can be used on stovetop, oven or grill..and it cleans up easier than traditional non-stick pans.

I've purchased several items from this shop for myself and gifts. Never disappointed. Always a treat just opening the very secured package. Love this grill basket! Clean-up is an absolute pleasure. Thank you!

About

Clay Coyote Pottery

Clay Coyote started 20 years ago. Our studio, gallery, and home are located north of Hutchinson Minnesota. We are "out in the country." You can see that Clay Coyote was once a farm. Our studio overlooks Todd Lake, which is part of our prairie restoration project. The land is being returned to its natural state after years of farming. It is a beautiful view, and much of our inspiration is taken from the changing seasons. Hutchinson is 50 miles west of the Twin Cities. A wonderful place to live, or visit! If you are ever in the area, please stop out and visit us. We can help you plan an entire day of your Hutchinson experience with suggestions of our favorite places to visit!

We make decorative as well as functional pottery. We have partnered with cook book author Paula Wolfert in recent years, and developed our own line of pottery known as Clay Coyote Flameware. Handmade pottery you can put on your stovetop, in your oven, on your grill, or over a camp fire. Cooking in clay makes everything taste better.

Thanks to our website and Etsy, most of our sales are now online. Etsy friends love our vinegar jars for making your own homemade vinegar. They also love our tagine, cassoles, and grill baskets. We are happy to be part of this wonderful community!

We love to cook and share our recipes, which you can find on our Pinterest Page. Our ties to the community are often a topic of discussion. Farming is a large part of the economy here, and we find inspiration for our recipes from seasonal produce we get through our local CSA Loon Organics.

We love functional pottery, it's art from our heart to your home.

When the Clay Coyote first began more than two decades ago, the vision was simple: create unique, functional, and affordable pottery handcrafted in central Minnesota. Our traditions carry on today, with our line of functional pottery you can use everyday.

All work is food safe and works in the microwave, oven and dishwasher. Our Clay Coyote Flameware can also be used on the stove top.

If you have any questions, please call or convo us. We'll be happy to help.

Payment
We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, and Etsy gift cards as forms of payment. All items will not be shipped out until the order is paid in full. If you chose to cancel an order it has to be with in 24 hours of purchase, if the cancellation is made past 24 hours no refund will be given.
Shipping
We ship through UPS.

If you purchase multiple pieces at once, we are happy to give you a discounted shipping rate. Usually when someone orders more than 3 pieces, the shipping is considerably less than what Etsy charges. Send us a note when you order multiple pieces, and we will see if we can discount your shipping.

We are also willing to ship internationally. Just send us a convo, and we will check the rates to where you live.

We don't want to charge everyone the increased price of shipping pottery to AK and HI. If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, we may charge you more for the shipping. Until Etsy works out the large gap in shipping within the US, we will do our best to be fair. If you are concerned about the difference, contact us for a quote. We will do our best to find the safest and least expensive way to ship your items.
Refunds and Exchanges
Each is handmade, and they are all different. We stand behind every one of our pieces. If you're not happy, neither are we! We will work with you to make it right.
