Every attempt has been made to give a complete and accurate description of each item offered for sale. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns will gladly be accepted if we are notified within 48 hours of receipt of the item(s) via email to arrange a return.

Again, we’ll do our best to accommodate! We’ll work with you to resolve any problem we can. Unfortunately, “I changed my mind.”…“It’s smaller than I thought.”… “It looked a little darker in the picture.” are examples of problems we can’t solve because they are a result of the buyer not making the selection carefully enough by reading all the provided information. If we provide inaccurate or misleading info inadvertently- of course we’ll make it right!- otherwise PLEASE make your selection as carefully and thoughtfully as you would in any other retail setting.

Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped within 7 days of receipt. They must be returned packaged as received in the original packing materials (not exterior mailing materials). You are responsible for return shipping and insurance.

Clever Vintage cannot accept returns of jewelry damaged after your receipt due to breakage, distortion, loss of stones or other parts, or by application of testing acids or attempts to clean the item(s) using improper methods. Partial returns of matching sets or combinations are not acceptable.

If the item is returned in its original condition, you will receive a refund for the cost of the item. Outgoing postage and return postage are not refunded. If the error is mine a refund will be issued in full. Layaway items are not eligible for return due to the extended period they are unavailable to the public. All returns are subject to a $25 restocking fee.

Once a garment is sold, payment must be received within three days. If you buy multiple items, we love to combine shipping to save you money!

Payment is due within 7 days of the date of purchase. I accept the following methods of payment:

Personal Check
If paying by personal check your item(s) will be shipped after 8 days to allow time for the bank to process your check. A $25.00 fee will be charged for any check returned for insufficient funds.

Cashier's Check/Money Order
When paying by cashiers check or money order, your item(s) will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

PayPal
We accept PayPal. An invoice is sent upon confirmation of your order. Your order is shipped after funds have been received.

Lay-a-way
Lay-a-ways are accepted with prior arrangements via convo. Typically 1/3 of the total cost is due to hold, with the next third due in two weeks, and the final third two weeks after than. Please adhere to this schedule unless other arrangements are made. Late payments will result in the items being taken off hold and any payments received forfeited. Refunds cannot be issued on items purchased via Lay-a-way.

All items are shipped via United States Postal Service or UPS with tracking information and delivery confirmation. We ship three times a week so you get your item FAST! If you need to make special arrangements to get your item more quickly (IE overnight service) just let us know… we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Insurance is optional. We are cannot be responsible for packages once they leave our hands. Damage, loss, or theft which occurs during shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, which is why we recommend getting insurance.

Items shipped internationally can only be tracked by us while the package is in the US. Once it reaches customs in the destination country the item is out of our control and becomes the buyers responsibility. Items that arrive at customs but do not reach the customer cannot be claimed against the seller.

We ship internationally to all regions assuming Etsy feedback warrents it. We do hold the right to refuse service to some with negative Etsy feedback.

Important note about shipping- PLEASE READ. We will ship your item upon receipt of payment. Please note that paypal payments take at least one business day to complete. Upon receipt of payment your item is packed and weighed and will ship the next Mon, Wed, or Fri (our shipping days). IE if you order on a Saturday the paypal payment will probably clear on Monday. It will be packed on Tues and shipped on Wed. We can't control how fast or slow paypal is in processing payments. Thanks for your understanding about this. As we ship from multiple locations (Los Angeles, CA and Tucson, AZ) you will be notified if shipping duration will be outside of this norm.

Please note that petticoats, jewelry, and belts are not included in the sale of the item unless specified in the title.
We appreciate your business and your realistic expectations.
We endeavor to note all flaws, but in garments which are decades old, some minor issues may escape even our watchful eye.

GARMENT MEASUREMENTS IN INCHES
All items are from a NON-Smoking, pet-free household. No warranties as to previous owners/households.

Mint: An item is as perfect and pristine as when it was originally made and shows no sign of wear.
Near mint: An item shows only the slightest signs of wear.
Excellent: An item shows typical signs of wear due to occasional use.
Very good: An item is considered wearable but has some surface flaws.
Good: An item is wearable but cannot be returned to excellent condition even if repairs are made.

We welcome your inquiries, but we have limited time to devote to email. We check it once a day at least, usually before 9:00 AM PST. We will do our best to respond within 24 hours.
