Making some jolly good furniture, making fantastic interiors, making life more splendiferous!

Whilst I was sitting at my desk in my office job for five years, I gradually grew more and more dissatisfied.

I love finding vintage junk, restoring it to treasure and creating new things out of old. So, encouraged by my husband, I left my job to focus on upcycling, and started my Etsy shop!

I hate to see things go to waste, and I love beautiful and quirky interiors. Upcycling combines these two passions and means I can create wonderful new pieces of furniture and homeware and help to make interior spaces beautiful whilst re-using old things and creating as little waste as possible.

My style is easily influenced and I absorb a lot from the places I've been and the things I've seen. With an eclectic taste in furniture, clothes, art and homeware, it lies somewhere between vintage, retro, and shabby chic, with a hint of Parisian cool and a lot of East London spark. All my pieces are a little quirky, a little clever, and a lot of fun.

I use various techniques to upcycle my pieces: sanding, prepping and painting wood; collage-ing with vintage texts and scraps of paper; reworking fabric, re-uphostery and restoring old machinery. And I'm always keen to learn more...!

I went to art school, then Cambridge, spent some time in Paris & then became a headhunter. I'm now finally doing what I really love, finding, making, upcyling furniture and homeware, creating beautiful interiors and being sustainable about it!
