My husband loved this item! He is a computer programmer, and the look of this piece was perfect addition to his desk. I had to message Alisa on a mailing address change, and she was quick to respond and make the change for me hassle free.

About

We specialize in kick ass industrial, ultra cool steampunk, super spiffy pretty and simply modern hardware and geektastic accessories.

After university (several thousand years ago) I decided to pursue a career in graphic & web design. But during the years of slaving / working in that field my creative energy was being slowly stifled.

Then one day I stumbled into the warehouse of a local e-waste recycler, with boxes and shelves filled with beautiful and unique bits and pieces I had a lightbulb moment. I had never really been interested in conventional jewelry and with all these lovely and interesting things within my grasp I became inspired and empowered to create.

I now create in my tiny workshop using a tile saw, scroll saw, soldering gun, super glue, wire cutters, pliers and a warehouse FULL of colorful circuit boards, resistors, capacitors, led lights and reams of wire. I love what i do. I love that each unique and one of a kind piece i make i am doing my own small part in recycling and saving the world. yeah i'm an upcycling geektastic superhero.

CLONE HARDWARE jewelry & accessories are created using electronic waste and surplus electronic components from computers, cell phones, dvd players, printers etc. Every piece of upcycled e-waste is first inspected for wear, leakage, cracks or breaks. Circuit boards are are cut and ground smooth and then sealed using a clear waterbased acrylic sealant. All of the jewelry findings are stainless steel unless otherwise noted in the description.

I make a wide variety of jewelry and accessories MOST of which are necessarily OOAK. I "shop" a local e-waste recycling warehouse fro my components and what is there one time MAY never be there again. I do not often re-create the same piece twice. That said....

Like all things in life sometimes you don't get what you want. But we're here to fulfil your desires....for custom upcycled jewelry anyways. No prince on the white horse or fairy tale endings but some kick ass industrial, ultra cool steampunk, super spiffy pretty or simply modern hardware are what we will deliver.

Custom work pricing is based on number of parts, beads and how much creative juice we need to figure out what the heck you want.

Email us today and let us know your desires for a unique piece of upcycled jewelry.
