Mama | Doula | Stitcher
I started as a mama then found my passion in the birth world as a doula & childbirth educator. I found cross stitch as a means to unwind after a long birth or long stint of teaching. It was a way to let my brain be creative and move back into mama bear mode.
After a year of cross stitching things for myself, family, & friends, I opened Cloth & Twig on a whim to make things for others. I love creating & making life a little more beautiful by helping people, giving an encouraging word, or making something for them to look at on a not so bright day.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Once you purchase your desired portrait, I will be in contact with you within 24-48 hours. You will then receive a link to a short form to fill out details that you'd like to included with your portrait and also where to send photos if you did not include them with your order initially.
Once you fill out the informational form, you will receive a sketch for your approval in the order!
I do take 6-8 weeks for shipping. You can expect a sketch about 3 -4 weeks after receipt of your completed form and photos. Don't hesitate to check in with me if you'd like at any time!
*Cloth & Twig Shop may use your finished portrait as an example in their shop or promotionally. Cloth & Twig Shop has all rights to photos and patterns.*
Gift wrapping and packaging
All orders come beautifully wrapped! They are gift giving ready, even if it is a gift to yourself. :)
Care instructions
Some care tips:
* A light dusting every so often will help your portrait shine.
* Do not remove from the hoop or frame ready backing. It can damage the stitching and will probably be really hard to get back into its original position. If the portrait is tampered with in this way, I do not offer any refunds or exchanges.
* Frame Ready portraits: If the portrait has 3D elements (french knots, fringe, etc.) It may be best to take the glass out of the frame so the full portrait can be exposed. Putting it behind glass can squish the small details.
* Pillow Care: Spot clean only. Fluff often.
Lost Packages
Cloth & Twig Shop ships to the address provided by Etsy or Paypal. Please ensure that your address is correct when placing your order. Cloth & Twig Shop is not responsible for lost or undeliverable packages.
