My name is Amanda and my heart and soul are in Cloud Nine Designz. I'm from New Jersey, where I was born. I later moved to Ohio and then Kentucky and lived two summers in Miami, Florida. And I am now residing in Ohio once again. I love being around the ocean and lakes, where I feel calm and relaxed. I'm a self-taught jewelry designer.

Every since I was young, I have always loved art and creating things. I come from a family of artists and makers on the women's side of my family. The first thing I ever learned was to cross stitch.

I remember going to the beach when I lived in New Jersey and looking for sea glass and sea shells. I had hermit crabs as a pet once. I love the calmness of the ocean and the freeing feeling it gives you. I love incorporation nature into my pieces.

I want everyone who buys from me to be able to remember a special time/event/person in their life with my items, and that my pieces are simple enough for the everyday.

After being laid off from my job of six years, Etsy has allowed me to express myself and make a living off of doing what I love the most, creating art and sharing it with others. I also love that I am able to use my business to give back to others with a portion of my sales each month. I am proud to run this business full time and support myself and my family.
