Stay At Home Grandma Gets Crafty

Being a transplant to the low-country of SC for a little over 3 decades is still not long enough to be called a ‘benyeh.’ If I stay until I’m dead I’ll probably pass as a ‘comeyeh’ since I am, originally, ‘from off’ (which is the upstate but, rules you know). I have a very unhealthy addiction to sweets (nearly any kind will do) and all comfort foods not covered under the ‘sweets’ category. I’m known for speaking my mind so, if you don’t want to know, don’t ask me. I love to find the humor in my empty nest life. I live life hard and smack into that brick wall almost daily because I’ve always had to learn the hard way. Why change now?

I was a SAHM for over 2 decades until the baby went off to college and I was left with an empty nest so I started teaching at the elementary school my 4 daughters attended until 2016 when my first grandbaby arrived! I quit teaching so she wouldn't have to go to daycare but still needed to have an income and just had no idea what to do. Since I have always loved creating handmade gifts for family and friends, everyone told me to try an Etsy shop and here we are! The biggest challenge is my constant second-guessing of my abilities.

I absolutely love creating wreaths, custom designed letters, handmade felt flowers, coastal themed gifts and coasters! There is something cathartic about the process of creating and a certain joy knowing others are enjoying those creations. Y'all have probably heard about the jig small business owners do when someone buys from them? It's TRUE! Thank you so much for visiting CoasterDoodles!

Sizing details

Sizes depend on the items you order and are listed within the item descriptions. If you still have a question, please feel free to ask!

Custom and personalized orders

Custom and personalized orders take more time to process. Once the item is made, for example, the coasters must be coated which is a 3 day process itself. Please feel free to ask if you are not sure.

That being said, I do accept custom orders on select items and do my best to match colors and design requests. Please remember colors can look different on different computers/monitors.

Any name, individual letter or initials, word, etc. can be made with the jute or yarn wrap. The sets you see are samples. If you'd like something else just ask and we'll work together. Just remember, custom orders take more time and depend on availability of materials needed to complete.

NO RETURNS on custom orders.

Delivery Time

Please note that once your purchase is in the hands of the USPS I have NO CONTROL over delivery times. I ship in a timely manner but I have no control how long it takes a package to arrive. I DO NOT REFUND for delivery delays due to the USPS. Thank you for understanding.

Property Rights

CoasterDoodles reserves the right to reproduce custom made items and to photograph all items created by CoasterDoodles to be used at our discretion for advertising or as samples in the listings. All photos are the property of CoasterDoodles and cannot be used without express permission from CoasterDoodles.

Refunds

If your purchase is damaged when you open it, you MUST SHOW PROOF. If you are dissatisfied you will be refunded upon receipt of returned purchase. Simply put, there will be no refunds without the return of purchase. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost of return purchase.
