A concrete prism in the make.

Mornings usually are early and smell like warm coffee.

Theodore starts his day by mixing his secret concrete ingredients in a bowl and then slowly and carefully filling the molds. Those prisms will need a good 3 day rest to dry, become strong and bring out their natural colour.

At the same time, i pick my spray colours, a masking tape and head out to the balcony. Since we live in an apartment there is no fancy, workshop. The balcony although works just great for me. The first layer of paint, creates the tip of the necklace. They are left to dry for a day, and then the line is created.

One thing i love most about the painting process is how the paint spray smell. Some of them like strawberry and some like bubblegum. It's so beautiful to see how bright and colourful the paint is the moment it sits on the concrete.

After the painting, i take the prisms to my office! Finally at a bright, white, comfortable desk. At this stage, i add the chains to the prisms, into their little white boxes, into the folders and at last into my "to ship" tote.

I live your imagination to tell you about my route from home to the post office, knowing that i live on the beautiful Greek island Kefalonia. Walking by the sea, stopping by to talk to the swans and sometimes even seeing a Kareta Kareta turtle or two! The route to the post office takes about 15 minutes on foot. It's so nice to live on an island since you always know everyone. At the post office there is usually no line, the packages get decorated with the lovely greek stamps and they are on their way home.

Additional policies and FAQs
Each and every piece of jewelry in the shop, is designed and hand crafted by me and my husband only. The jewelry that will arrive to your hands, is made for everyday use, but it is not considered to be fine jewellery. All supplies are copper based, lead and nickel free, and chain length 60cm / 23 inches. I want my prices to be affordable to everyone and the accessories to be used every day and in all occasions. Therefore, you have to treat the jewelry with care: Avoiding water, and chlorine or when cooking / making chores around the house, will extend its life.

All Concrete Necklaces are different from each other, with flaws, since they are all handmade. But that is what makes them special, no necklace is similar with any other, they are all unique and one of a kind. Concrete when dries, creates bubbles which can be seen on the concrete prism, but that's the beauty of a natural item like that. Perfect is boring, right?

The concrete prism comes into different shades of grey. Sometimes lighter and sometimes darker. This is not customisable. Please keep in mind that each necklace is unique and neither are identical. They come with beautiful flaws that highlight their uniqueness.

In case your order is consisted from more than one jewelry, each item will be put in separate box packaging. The shipment will still be consisted from one main package folder unless the amount of necklaces is that big that i will have to use more than one folders.

When the order is from 2 necklaces and more, there is a tag naming the colour of the necklace at the back of the box.
