It Was All a Dream....
My Etsy shop was created as a result of my interest in supporting and encouraging other speech-language pathologists. It all started with an idea to create what is now "One-Minute Thoughts and Inspiration for the Speech-Language Pathologist' back in 2015. Back then it was all just a vision. The first step of faith was starting a social media account, while in the background I started to write and gather all I wanted to say in my "dream book". In 2020 as we were all at home quarantining I started to get more serious. I started one step at a time, figuring things out along the way from editing, design, production, everything was a learning experience! I am proud to say today that I created this product from inception to what it is today, and I am beyond proud of the finished product. Each time I read the pages of this book, I am encouraged by my own words and I know you will be too!
Because I am a minority SLP I am aware of the fact that only 8% of SLP's are minorities and the great impact that diversifying our field can have. As a result, I am committed to putting feet to the ground to help support the organizations that are already doing the work to help support and advocate for minority SLP's and the issues surrounding the minority populations we serve, therefore a percentage of each book sale will be donated to these organizations doing the work. My goal is that this book encourages the reader, but also serves a greater purpose and gives back to our field in a meaningful way.

Custom or personalized items are not offered at this time. If gifting, there is an option to include a message to your recipient when ordering. There is also a blank page behind the cover to include a personal note to the recipient of desired.
Care instructions
The book’s frame is sturdy with a protective blank front cover to protect any bending of inside pages when transported. Inside pages are made of thick material to withstand constant use. General wear and tear may occur. General book care is recommended.

This book is suitable for any SLP, SLP-Assistant or grad student working in any role or setting. Colors and design are gender neutral for both male and female SLP’s. All SLPs were considered in created this product and it is inclusive for all. *Although it is designed for SLPs, inspiration is for all and most messages extend beyond the SLP world and are applicable to life and other industries.*
