About

Coffey Creations for Kids Heirloom Products for Children

I am currently a stay at home mom with three boys. My father, who was a coal miner from West Virginia, gave me my first sewing machine and my first real camera.

Thanks to my wonderful husband, and being able to stay home with my boys, I have been able to truly delve into my art!

I paint on canvases and just about anything, embroider and sew, take photos like crazy, and even do woodworking. I love it all and especially being able to combine these different mediums.

My background is in pharmacy, where I was able to be creative as well. I earned the Distinguished Young Pharmacists Award and the Innovative Pharmacy practice award for my artwork and organization of informational based products for children and adults. I then went on to work for the first country wide Physician Counselling program by a Pharmacy Benefits Company. My creative abilities were put to the test, here, too.

I also was hired as a consultant for the School of Pharmacy at West Virginia University to help them develop their own Physician Counselling Program.

Being a mother, though, has been the most rewarding experience of my life. Through my little guys I have been able to truly be my most creative!

Having three boys I hated that there was so little out there for boys-cute, fun things! From clothing to toys, it just seemed overwhelmingly girly! After many years of creating things for family and friends I realized my passion of creating and decided to venture into the world of doing my own thing!!!

Thankyou again to my father who was my original supporter. He bought me my first sewing machine when I wanted to make my first sewing project! A King Cole costume for my first little boy-Cole. He gave me my first real camera-another one of my passions!

My father was a coal miner in West Virginia who went to night classes for eight years while working full time to support our family. He went on to gain a degree in Mining Engineering and own and operate a very sussessful Mining safety and Temp agency for Coal Miners in West Virginia. My father passed away unexpectedly and never got to meet his namesake, David and my littlest guy Leonard. We all miss you Daddy. our lives were and are so much richer for having had you in them!

Thank you also to all of my fantastic clients, several of whom have become wonderful friends. I so appreciate your kindness, your appreciation of my efforts and your willingness to spread the word! I look forward to every new project and hope to be able to continue to do these fun things for a long time!!!!
