5 out of 5 starsREALLY nice deer antler tine necklace- I love it. It’s hard to find smaller antler pieces, so this is an instant favorite. I appreciated the extra antler tine, which I added to a Native American made dreamcatcher I have. Thanks!

Frequently asked questions
What is plastic shrink film?
(From Wikipedia:)
"Shrinky Dinks are a children's toy and activity kit consisting of large flexible sheets which, when heated in an oven, shrink to small hard plates without altering their color or shape. They reached the height of their popularity in the 1980s.
Most sets are pre-printed with outline images of popular children's characters or other subjects, which are then colored in before baking."
I buy blank sheets of this material and use colored pencil to draw my own designs.
Care instructions for plastic pieces:
I have had many of the plastic pieces last for years, I have a few in my personal collection from 2008!
In order to make your piece last this long, please be cautious when wearing at shows, while dancing, in mosh pits, or while scuba diving. If you attempt to break the material, you more than likely will.
The material is water resistant due to the waxiness from the pigment in colored pencil, however I have noticed they tend to fade faster if worn in the shower.
Not recommended for wear with sunscreens/lotions.
Where do you source your materials?
I use a lot of jewelry components from vintage pieces, deconstructed to serve a new purpose. Any other jewelry component I use is made in the USA and nickel and lead free.
I order my antlers from a furniture company who does not use the tips. I then hand file, drill, and sand the antlers to be used in jewelry. Male deer shed their antlers once a year, antlers are a very sustainable resource.
My fossils, stones, shark teeth, shells and crystals are collected while on road trips, bead shops, and gem shows where I can be sure I'm selecting the best quality and most unique pieces from the source itself.
I try my best to support local, independently owned, made in America, female owned, POC owned businesses whenever possible.
