About

Handcrafted pottery and art made in Colorado.

Welcome to my art journey!

Ceramicscapes is a handmade ceramic and art studio located in Fort Collins, CO. I create unique ceramic objects for purchase and site specific ceramic installations for residential and commercial clients using both hand building techniques and a Thomas Stuart pottery wheel.

Why ceramics? Clay is a very versatile material and once fired in a kiln is durable. Ceramics won't fade over time and can be scaled architecturally to fit any size interior or exterior space. From handmade tiles to ceramic murals, to more sculptural and utilitarian objects, I hope to add a special touch to your home or business.

The name of my business was born out of my love of ceramics and how these objects occupy our personal landscapes in simple and yet profoundly beautiful and functional ways. I take pride in my craft and strive to design and make work that brings beauty to your everyday life.

In the past 1.5 years, my work has shifted fairly dramatically after taking an illustration class. I have been working and playing hard to develop a graphic line of ceramics that straddles drawing, painting and clay.

In 2017, I plan to introduce original 2D artwork along with prints of my originals to my Etsy shop since I am continuously working between different mediums these days.

Frequently asked questions

Buying a gift for someone?

If you are purchasing a gift from my shop to send directly to a recipient, I'm happy to include a personal gift note from you and will include a gift receipt in lieu of an itemized invoice. Please let me know in the "notes to seller" section when checking out.

With the exception of ceramic jewelry, I do not offer gift wrapping due to the nature of packing ceramic ware in bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery.

Do you combine shipping?

Absolutely! I strive to keep shipping prices as low as possible and only charge actual shipping. After processing your order, I will refund any shipping over charges back to your account if the amount is greater than $1.

Do you live in the Fort Collins area and want free shipping?

If you live in my neck of the woods, I'm happy to offer free pickup option at my home studio. Please enter coupon code "LOCAL" when checking out to waive any shipping charges. I will provide you with the address where you can pick up your items and arrange a pick up window time.
