Fast, courteous, and engaging seller. The earrings and necklace were PERFECT and really made my job easy. Monica worked with me to create EXACTLY what I wanted and even designed the earrings to match. My Girlfriend LOVED it. Cannot recommend Monica enough!

Beautiful item -- just what I was looking for! Love the organza bag too...I bought it to give as a gift and that packaging makes it work even better for that. Communication was excellent, shipping was fast. Couldn't ask for more! :-)

I just love my new earrings! Seller was super friendly and she even made sure I received them in time for my date!! I've gotten so many compliments on them and I will definitely purchase from her again!
Jewelry for a Song
My name is Monica and I am the designer behind Coloratura Creations. My journey with jewelry making began at a young age when I attended an auction with my parents. They had given me a few dollars to bid with and I bought a large box of miscellaneous items (because I saw some colored sand on the top and wanted to make layered glass jars with them).
As luck would have it, the remainder of the box was stuffed full of beads, rocks and lapidary magazines. My parents thought I was nuts to be reading lapidary magazines at just 9 years old, but I was hooked. I immediately started experimenting with the beads to create pieces. Let me tell you, my first pieces were horrible! But this experience began a life-long love of beading and rock-hounding!
Today, I still love creating beautiful jewelry and accessories, but I like to think that my technique has come a long way since those days.
My jewelry and accessories are created using natural materials such as shells, Lake Erie beach glass or gemstones; vintage finds, such as antique buttons; and found items, including hardware or up-cycled items. I also love creating sparkly pieces with crystals, glass or pearls.
I am always trying new mediums and new techniques; drawing inspiration from music, books, nature and whatever else I may encounter. I pride myself on making jewelry as unique and beautiful as the wearer.
I employ a variety of methods to create my unique pieces, and am always studying and reading to learn more and perfect my craft. My favorite methods include resin setting, wire-wrapping, and beading.

I've been told that I'm too crafty for my own good...I love good books, good friends, good food, good music, animals and creating...
