Excelsior! The Story of Comics, Art, and Love!

Comicollage is a comic book collage art by writer Josiah Golojuh. Actual comics transformed into a new form and given a new lease on life as art for your wall! Each item is handcrafted from an old comic book from Josiah's collection. Pages are cut and details from covers are cut with an Exacto knife. Once assembled, it is carefully sealed with a high-quality varnish.

All in all, they are the ultimate expression of fandom. All Comicollages are signed by Josiah and are uniquely numbered. Comicollage is regularly featured at The Hive Gallery & Studios in Los Angeles, California, as well as The Dream Factory in Frankfurt, Germany.

From the Comicollages and a passion for vintage and collectible items, the shop grew to include my own comics and related work.

Thanks for stopping by (digitally anyway!). Poke around, if you like comics books, you're sure to find something you like here!

These pieces are made to reflect my own passion. They are affordable art that is a summation of what it is to be a fan of something and love it enough to want to show it off in a fun funky way.

Comicollage is made from my comic book collection. I dismember the comics and give them new life, all objects the comics are placed on are found items (from yard sales, thrift stores, etc.) so even if I do two pieces from the same comic each is one of a kind!
