This cup is absolutely beautiful. It's exactly what I was looking for-the perfect size for a hot drink, fits well in my hands, and feels smooth. I love it!

WONDERFUL piece, superb craftsmanship. It's even better looking than the photograph. This is one artisan well worth checking out!

About

Idle hands...

Even as I write this story of how ceramics and I formed and forged our relationship, I am fidgeting. Now I am not hyper or an over-consumer of coffee (well, sometimes), but I am one of those that feels the need to move or do things all the time. This is how I chanced across the art of ceramics and how it has been keeping my hands busy and happy ever since.

When selecting my major for college I stepped away from the many career-tract options and chose something that I knew would serve me and give me a solid foundation for understanding pretty much everything: history. If you are unfamiliar with how this major works, it involves a lot of sitting, reading, sitting and reading, and taking notes. For me it was a wholesome mental experience but left my creative and kinetic side lacking. In sophomore year I signed up for an intro to ceramics class and have not stopped.

I live in Greenville, SC with my boyfriend, Zack, and our amazing Boston Terrier, Emma. He teaches history at a local CC and I work on the financial side of a marketing company. See, Mom, history can get you into a lot of different fields.

I love the clean lines and smooth forms that can be created with clay so you will almost always see that reflected in my work. I am currently working out of a local studio and only do work part-time so I am slowly building my shop and my collection.
