About

Supporting Artists and Creating is the key to happiness

For many years I have enjoyed making things. Now that I am working toward getting an Art degree I have realized that being able to create art is a talent.I want to share what I know how to do and learn from others. We as Artists have to encourage and support each other .Etsy is a family of creative energy and I want to be a part of that. Life is short and if what make one happy is creating things than that is what one should do!! I want to bring beautiful items to the table for everyone and in the process help artisans that other wise would not prosper. The Swat Valley was at one time were a must see travel destination for westerners. Hundereds of thousands use to come here during summers. Now no one goes, they suffered an earth quake in 2005,then from 2007-2009 the Taliban invaded this town and thousands lost there lives. In 2009 the armys got the Taliban out of Swat vally. As the community was re building in 2010 a devastating flood caused terrible distraction. Mingora is the biggest city in the Swat dictrict.I am now working with talented weavers in Swat Valley Pakistan. They are rebuilding after 2 years of being taken over during a war and then after regaining control of their city and yes the flood took their shop.Any weaving purchased thru me will support their rebuilding.
