Announcement   For centuries women have used cloth as a tool of comfort and as an expression of beauty within their homes. Creating cloth for warmth, cloth for shelter, our female predecessors embellished these linens with hand stitich using laborious and time consuming techniques thereby enhancing the functional beauty of objects which enveloped and protected their families. Inspired by these women I hope my creations pay tribute to and recognise the devotion expressed in cloth by our female ancestors .

''the use of traditional often time consuming process alludes to the devotion of a mother''. c K. A. Ruane 2007

Unique hand embroidered textiles and accessories each created to the highest standards with the finest materials.

I am a graduate in embroidery and surface design with qualified teacher status. My main love is embroidery, by hand, traditional stuff like our grandmothers used to do. My work has been exhibited widely.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any query/question, and I would welcome any feedback.

I am afraid items cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

If you have a query about colour/ colour matching on wearables please contact me regarding the provision of fabric samples etc. These would be forwarded with postage and packaging costs the responsibility of the customer.

I am more than willing to discuss custom orders for any items in the shop and also larger more complex pieces.
Goods will normally be shipped within one week of purchase. I cannot be responsible for undelivered items. Packages are not insured due to cost however if you would like your package insured please contact me. Current pricing for delivery insurance is $5 for UK customers and $12 for those in other countries.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
