5 out of 5 starsPerfect jacket for our cold summer evenings here in Sweden. The "hood" also works as an extra cover for a smaller toddler being carried on your shoulders. 😂. Very happy with this! My children also have one each in "Elsa-blue". 💙💙

Love to make coolawoola cardigans for you!
Wool and Cashmere Coats for women. Sustainable fashion.
1. Coolawoola is all about UPCYCLING:
Which means re-using the clothes that are no longer useful for us.
For example: You have a gorgeous cashmere sweater but you’ll never wear it again.
It’s felted or out of fashion.
This cashmere wool stays perfect even when felted.
If you don’t know that to do with it you can give it to us.
In our hands all textiles and clothes are remade by cutting them and sewing them again.
We create unique piece of clothing out of those.
2. UNIQUE:
Each coolawoola coat is unique because it’s made out of at least six sweaters.
They are always high quality wool: cashmere, merino, pure wool.
This set of sweaters is non repetitive. It’s one off. Unique coat matching unique person.
3. ZERO WASTE PRODUCTION :
Coolawoola is about zero-waste production. It means using every piece of wool that is cut.
For example we make mittens from the smaller pieces of sweaters.
4. FAIR TRADE:
Coolawoola is about fair trade which means fair payments for each person taking part in the production. Everything is made locally.
The fashion market is overloaded with clothes and people throw away those which are still in perfect shape. Sometimes even with labels still on.
To stay eco we reuse, reduce and create those which are closer to our body.
This is Coolawoola’s goal - to give new life to clothes.
My passion is sustainability and creativity in fashion! All my designs are upcycled or made of spare scraps in textile production. Everything is sewed in the area I live in by my friends or family. I love to support local and eco business.
My coolest design is coolawoola - soft and warm coat made of colorful pure wool or cashmere wool you can wrap around you. All the coolawoolas are reswed from pure wool sweaters or dresses. I define each character of coolawoola by different composition and palette. Coolawoola can be made for a one-year-old or a hundred-year-old person.
I inherited the enthusiasm for design and tailoring from my mom who taught me how to sew. Combined with my passion for colorful ideas from Art Academy in Gdańsk (Poland) gave me the potential to create new solutions for sustainable fashion.
My favourite coolawoolas are cashmere ones.
Most fragile and distinct in color. So delicate you can barely recognize you wear one. While designing one I feel like meditating.
I put all my heart in my coolawoola babies <3
