It all started with a shark...

When I was in college I wanted to turn my dad's vintage shirts into shirts that would fit me so I asked my grandmother for a sewing lesson. I watched her sew for a few hours while she gave me as many tips as she could think of. She surprised me by giving me the sewing machine we were working on. It was probably 20 years older than I was and very difficult to work on (compared to the newer models) but I was up all night experimenting. I loved it!

One thing lead to another (as it often does!) and I began making purses, cuff bracelets and pillows. I added shark like features pillow once and couldn't believe it sold right away at a craft show! I made another one, and then another, and then a few more and showed up at that same craft show a year later with a table full of stuffed critters!

Hi there! My goal is to have my products paid for and out the door and into your arms as quickly and efficiently as possible. I don't know about you, but when I order something online, I don't want to wait any longer than I have to for it to show up so I kept that in mind when I created my shipping policies.

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Returns and exchange details
If there are any significant mistakes or descriptions that were wildly incorrect I will gladly refund your payment and ask that you ship your critter back (on me.) Please get in touch with me if you are unhappy with your purchase and I will do everything I can to make things right. Unfortunately I do not offer refunds on products that have been in your possession for 10 days or more, so get in touch with me ASAP if you would like a refund.
Please pay in full as soon as possible after purchase. I am notified when a payment has been made and will let you know when it has been received!
I will ship your critter to you in a red, white and blue (but mostly white) priority mail envelope within 2 days of payment. If you are ordering more than one critter, I will ship them in a brown UPS box. Etsy will send you tracking info as soon as it becomes available.

If the shipping address is different from the address provided through Etsy, please contact me prior to payment. If the wrong shipping address is supplied by the buyer, and the buyer does not notify me before the shipment is dispatched, then the buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item again after it returns back to us.

RETURNED PACKAGES: If your package is returned to me for any reason, (i.e. wrong address, unclaimed, etc.) I will contact you regarding the problem - in most cases, you will need to repay the shipping fee for it to be shipped again, or you may have a refund minus original shipping. Please make sure your address is correct.
