Frequently asked questions

What metal materials do you use?

The materials we use in our jewelry are aluminum, sterling silver, gold-fill, brass or stainless steel. Each listing will state what each piece is made from.

Aluminum is a more affordable option to sterling silver. It is a hypoallergenic, tarnish-free and nickel-free.

Sterling Silver is an alloy of silver & contains 92.5% of silver. It may tarnish, but can easily be polished back up with a jewelry polishing cloth.

Gold fill is the next best thing to solid gold. It is 50-100x thicker than gold plated jewelry. It can potentially last a lifetime if taken care of properly.

Brass is an alloy of copper & zinc and is a more affordable option to gold. It will naturally patina (darken) over time.

Receipts

We do *not* normally include printed receipts with your packaged order.
Also, your order will be gift ready.
You may print out your own receipt on the Etsy website at any time by visiting your "Purchases" under "Your Account." If you prefer that I included a printed receipt with your order, just let us know.

Wholesale availability

Yes, we do take wholesale orders. Please send me a convo for more info.
My products are not available for dropshipping. Thank you for understanding.

When is my order going to ship?

Most of our pieces are made to order, and typically take between 1-2 business days to ship depending on our current workload. I have a very small team that consists of myself. We try to ship everything as quickly as possible. If it has been longer than this time frame and your order hasn't shipped, please get in touch with us.

Custom and personalized orders

From time to time this will happen, especially on bracelets that have seen lots of love. It's a very easy fix, and we are going to let you in on our super top secret way to turn them black again.... its a black sharpie! We know it's not fancy. Simply brush on a little black permanent marker, let it dry, lightly brush of the excess with your polishing cloth.

Hand Stamping?

Metal Hand Stamping is very different from engraving although they are often confused. While engraving is done with a machine, stamping is literally done with a hammer, a metal block and metal shafts with letters at the end. Letters are stamped one at a time, which means that every hard stamped piece is a little bit different, a little bit crooked and a lot one of a kind.

The black letters/numbers on my jewelry wore off, what do I do?
