Mixed Media Jewelry with Polymer Clay, Vintage Beads and Eco Friendly Materials

Why look like everyone else? Let my jewelry creations help you look as cool and distinctive as that coolest of animals, the giraffe! My unique, handcrafted earrings, necklaces and bracelets blend modern polymer clay, vintage beads, and eco-friendly recycled or re-purposed materials. For discerning jewelry artisans, I also offer high-quality vintage and modern jewelry supplies.

Do you love hunting for vintage deadstock supplies almost as much creating pieces inspired by them? Rescuing pretty sparklies from dusty storerooms and warehouses is my mission! If you don't see quite what you're looking for in my shop, don't be afraid to ask. I'm happy to serve as the personal shopper for your handmade business!

All Cool!Giraffe Design pieces are made in a pet friendly, smoke free environment.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when I mark a purchase as a gift?

A gift receipt will be included in your order. Marking an order as a gift does not exempt customers from paying VAT, customs, or any other fees or taxes imposed by their country.

Customs Duties and VAT

This shop does not collect customs duties or VAT. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Your country will calculate these charges when your package arrives within in your county's borders and hold your package until these duties and/or taxes are paid.

I want more of something than you have listed, can I get it?

You are always welcome to ask!

Most of my supply listings are vintage or no longer manufactured. I usually list all I have on hand. If I can obtain additional quantities, I would be happy to set up a reserved listing for you when I have more stock.

Many of my jewelry pieces, particularly those using polymer clay, are one-of-a-kind or few-of-a-kind. Although I would be happy to recreate pieces for you using the same (or improved) materials and techniques, bear in mind there will be slight differences from the original.

Hypothetically speaking, may I return earring findings?

If you are unhappy with the findings, you may return them for a refund of the purchase price (but not the shipping, as per shop policies). Once I receive the box from you, I will process the refund. Unless they they are returned by package intercept or refused delivery, earring findings are sent to a recycler or otherwise destroyed. It may seem like a shame to do, but I do not risk the health of my customers (or their own customers) by selling posts that may have been worn.

I want hypoallergenic jewelry findings! Do you have them?

All stainless steel findings in this shop are Grade 304. Grade 304 stainless is also used for surgical instruments and food service. It contains a small amount of nickel (2-10%) bound into the alloy in compliance with EU regulation EN1811:2011+A1:2015, which limits nickel release to no more than 0.35µg/cm2/week. This type of stainless steel is considered hypoallergenic for most people.

I also carry a few sizes of titanium findings for those with very sensitive ears. Titanium is a pure metal, nickel free and hypoallergenic.

Most of my ready-to-wear earrings use stainless steel, niobium (another hypoallergenic metal), or sterling silver.
