Announcement   Mother Nature Theme Copper Art and Birdbath Fountains for you and your birds!
Our Website: coppergardenstudio.com ....we offer "Unique' Christmas Gifts"
Our Motto: "Quality Copper Art that does not rust apart; she just gets more beautiful!"

Welcome to the Copper Garden Studio where copper is the new gold. We find the warmth of copper and the longevity of its life make designing in copper the most enjoyable. In outside or moist locations the beauty of the blue green patina process just enhances a copper piece without destroying it like rust destroys steel. If kept indoors our copper retains its lustrous copper shine.

All of our products are literally "Hand Crafted" which means that on listings with multiple quantities of the same item some slight variation to the shape or size of leaf will occur. We call these designs our "Copper House Design" which we duplicate.

The year of 2015 was slated to be a “Year of Change” for Copper Garden Studio. Our artist, Heather, thought that she was going to be able to retire but we have had a set back and she will continue to cook copper for a while longer. Birdbath Fountains will make a comeback with some new designs but will continue to be simple and safe for the birds. Other products will be offered and a new category or two will be added. It is time to clean out the cupboard so “Discontinued Designs” and “Items on Sale” will be available. Periodically check back with us to see what is new in the store!

Our products are Unique, Fun & Quality Made by Heather and make fabulously unique usable gifts year round! All items are shipped Priority Mail, First Class or Ground depending on size of box and shipping dollars charged.

Antic dote: Having spent the years being a wife of one, mother of two, lover of Mother Nature and all her creatures and a “Do It Yourself-er” the natural progression into Copper Art was a given. Once she realized that she had an affinity with copper, useful and then decorative designs began to emerge. When she talked of working with copper she used the phrase “Cooking Copper” as to her the trial and error of a working design was similar to creating a food recipe hence the term “Copper Cooker” was born.

Here is some feedback from customers!

Gideon Mayandia (gideon5mayandia) says of his fountain:
Easy setup & water pump comes with 4 levels of settings. Beautiful craftsmanship, simple to look at yet, elegantly designs. The copper lit on sun light reflection during dusk. I had it for 4-days; a Hummingbird is already using it. Thank you Heather for sharing your Art Work!

Heather's Copper Fountains are GREAT! They are all designed and made by her with care and quality. I bought my fountain from her about 5 years ago when she had her shop in town. It is on my deck outside my bedroom slider. It runs 24 hours a day. I love to hear the soothing sound of the trickling water. Birds come often to drink, or bath and that is always fun to watch. You will love any of her fountains, and believe me, it will be hard to find anywhere else the design or quality that you will get with her fountains. I was at the Amish Acres Art Show in Nappanee Indiana one year, and when the show opened, she had people literally running to her booth to be first to pick out their purchases! She is trustworthy, and works harder and with more passion at her craft than anyone I have ever known. -Nancy Ford :)

About

Wife of one, mother of two, turns into a copper cooker.

Heather’s passion is copper, a passion that was found in 1998 and is growing by leaps. Early years were devoted to her husband, children and home. A “Do It Yourself-er” by nature is what prompted the change to Artisan in her later years. Through the desire for her own copper cascade fountain being the beginning and a love of nature, Heather’s designs began to materialize.

She creates for both Mother Nature’s creatures and us. Beauty, serenity, ease of functionality, durability and quality are all important aspects of her designs.

With a “Garden Vine” theme and a leaning toward "Functional Art" all of the copper in Heather’s designs is hand cut, buffed, marked, shaped and assembled. Another aspect of the quality copper Heather uses to hand craft her designs is that it is Solid Copper and not merely copper coated. Quality accent pieces such as Artist blown Art Glass, recycled glass from Spain, Cloisonne Birds, Bugs & Leaves are just a few items used for design completion.

Heather and her husband, along with two orange tabby cats, live outside a small town in Michigan on one of “Pure Michigan’s” wonderful lakes. Here her inspiration thrives while enjoying all that Mother Nature has to offer. Being a bird & garden enthusiast helps to bring her designs to life. She hopes you enjoy her designs and come back often to discover the new items she has to offer. Enjoy!
