From an early age I was fascinated with making things. I built my first livable treehouse back when I was 14 and learned a lot of basic woodworking skills in junior high school. Working with wood always stuck with me, and as an adult I was always building things in my small garage shop. A few years ago I moved to Truckee, near Lake Tahoe in California and built a new backyard shop to make stuff in. I don't make a lot of things, but I do like to share a few of the items with world and offer them for sale. In general, I try to make unique creations that no one else has done before. My wood bowls are very original. I started designing custom shape bowls in software and fabricating them with a small CNC machine. A lot of my designs incorporate colored epoxy to give a more dramatic effect to the piece. They are part art, and part functional -- functional art.
