Announcement
PLEASE NOTE: I am currently booked on portraits through mid May. I can still take orders, but cannot promise any more to be finished until MID MAY OR LATER. Contact me if you have any questions (I can sometimes fit something in but only if you happen to message me at the exact right time haha).
**IMPORTANT** Please be aware that the USPS is occasionally experiencing shipping delays. I have had more than one instance where a customer alerts me that their package hasn’t arrived, but lo and behold it eventually shows up. Even tracking information doesn’t always prove reliable. Please note that I am a small, one woman business. Unlike Amazon I am not always able to resend lost items (exceptions can be made). My shipping policies are that I am NOT responsible for items lost in the mail. I ship everything USPS first class. If you are local to Indianapolis and would like to do porch pickup from my home please message me directly to set this up.
Your one stop cute shop.
Cordial Kitten portraits are a unique keepsake for your family or someone you love.
Ordering a portrait? Please contact me for my current schedule wait times. It usually takes me about a month to complete a portrait, often times more than that (but sometimes less). If you have a tight turn around time, please discuss it with me before ordering to make sure I can accommodate it. Please and thank you for your understanding!
Thanks much! I'm glad you're here!

5 out of 5 starsIt was wonderful working Candice on my family's full service portrait. She took great notes on what I wanted and gave me advice when I needed it in making edits. I highly recommend and will order from her again!

5 out of 5 starsPurchased as a Christmas present. I couldn’t have been happier with the communication I received to get the details of the portrait squared away. Item arrived in time for Christmas and the recipients loved it. A perfect gift!

5 out of 5 starsI am beyond happy with the portrait that Candice did of my family. She was easy and communicative from the start to the finish. The portrait turned out beautifully, from the colors to the depictions of my family members. She took care with details and truly turned my original vision into something worth cherishing. I would buy custom art from Candice anyday.

My studio space.
Illustrating your life.
I've always been interested in illustration. After graduating from the Herron School of Art in 2005, I wasn't really sure where to start my career. A friend told me about Etsy, which was pretty new at the time, so I decided to give it a shot. All these years later, I'm still here on etsy, but I'm also working for book publishers, magazine makers, corporations and individuals from my awesome studio at the Harrison Center for the Arts in my adopted city, Indianapolis, IN. My husband and I have three small children, so you'll find that I keep odd hours, but I'm proud of always meeting every deadline. This is the dream!

Shop policies
My life's mission is to draw and paint, and most of all to share it with whoever I can. In my store, I try my best to do just that. All of my giclee prints (with rare exception) are open edition prints, which means they are printed on demand with no limit in sight. I wish for my art to reach the widest possible audience, and get sad thinking about how someone may miss out on having a happy kitty on their wall.
All of my prints are printed with my super awesome giant epson printer, using premium (ie, thick, like cardstock) matte photo paper with epson pigment inks. The prints come out looking simply amazing: I often end up loving the print even more than the original! And the best part is the inks and paper are rated to last AT LEAST 90 years when kept out of direct sunlight, which is more than I can say for my delicate watercolor and graphite originals.

Delivery
In the event you are overcharged for shipping, I will refund you the difference. I usually end up eating some of the shipping costs, so it's more likely that you are coming out ahead :)
***INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
I love sending my goods out to people around the world! However, lately shipping costs have been raising beyond what I can predict, and I end up taking a huge loss. If the item you wish to buy does not have international shipping listed, please contact me and I will happily get you a quote. Please note my shipping price will not reflect any customs duties or other fees you may incur while shopping from out of the country. And last but not least, when I ship an item overseas I usually get an estimated arrival date. However items can sometimes get hung up in customs and may take longer to actually arrive to your open arms. I cannot be responsible for this occurrence. ***
I try to ship items out as soon as I possibly can. Portraits may take a month or longer to be delivered, but you and I will discuss that at the time of purchase. <3
Please note that I cannot be responsible for what may happen to your purchase in transit. I do my best to package your print or painting up snugly and safely, and haven't yet had anything get damaged. But I guess it can happen. If an item becomes lost on its way to you, I cannot be held responsible. We may be able to work something out to fix it, but it will be decided on a case by case basis. I do purchase insurance for original artwork.
Whew. Thanks for reading!
