Love of wine, weddings and crafts is the heart behind CorkeyCreations
It is crazy to think we have been on this journey for over 10 years now. It all started after a trip to Napa tasting some of our favorite wines I began to wonder what I could do with all the corks we had collected from our trip. From there I started out making wine cork wreaths, coasters and just a few varieties of wine cork place card holders. I was surprised that a majority of our sales started to come from the wine cork place card holders, people just loved them! So my husband and I started brainstorming other ways we could do them and eventually found a way that enabled us to print images and even personalized text on them.
We have been perfecting our craft for 10 years and we were the first shop on Etsy to offer personalized and custom print wine cork place card holders. We believe our experience and products are nothing but the best.
We love all the wonderful customers we have worked with and the conversations we get to have with them about their events. We are so grateful for all the nice reviews we have received over the years and hope we get to continue doing what we love for many years to come.
My husband recently opened the vinyl shop, Lakeside5Designs, on Etsy, so we also operate under that shop name.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalized orders
Returns and exchange details
You must contact us within 7 business days from receiving your order to request a refund. If you have not contacted us within 7 business days from receiving your order, we will not be able to process your return.
If you have received an item in error (wrong item or spelling error) please contact us and we will make sure to get a new order out to you in a timely manor.
We do not refund shipping costs nor due we pay for return shipping on general returns.
Order Cancellations must be requested within 12 hours from date of purchase and personalized order cancellations may incur a $20 fee as the process to begin your order may have already been started.
There are a few exceptions to the return/exchange policy:
Personalized and Custom Place Card Holders – These place card holders are custom made only after your order was placed. Because of this reason, orders for these items cannot be refunded. To ensure your satisfaction, please email us at info [!at] corkeycreations.com if you have any questions prior to placing your order.
Special-Order Items – These items are custom made to your specifications and because of this, orders for these items cannot be refunded once placed. To ensure your satisfaction, please email us at info [!at] corkeycreations.com if you have any questions prior to placing your order.
* Also, we do not offer exchanges or refunds due to darkness of printing or cork color. Cork is a natural resource and our inventory is always changing, so color may vary slightly from what is shown in the photos. Cork also accepts ink differently from cork to cork, so we can't guarantee darkness of printing. Also, the printing may not appear as dark on some of our darker corks, but also note that the darker corks we use are also very high quality and have allowed us to print your text very crisp and cleanly.

We also welcome international purchases and ship outside the US using USPS priority shipping, or contact us for Express shipping rates if needed sooner.
Any customs fees on international orders are the customers responsibility. We will do what we can to prevent them or keep them low, but it is up to your own customs as to who gets a fee or not.

We also suggest you allow plenty of time between when you purchase and the need-by date in case there would end up being any shipping delays.

Corkey Creations has access to limited personal data for core business purposes.
When you place an order with me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Etsy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Etsy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Etsy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get the personalized corks with my own info on them?
Yes, the photos of the personalized corks are just to show font and layout options. You would purchase the design/layout you like and then leave me a message during the checkout process (there is a text box during the checkout where you can leave me that note).
How soon will my order ship?
In the description of each product, we state what the processing time is (the time it takes us to make the item and get it ready to ship). In most cases that time frame is 5-7 business days, but can be a bit faster for some of our non-customized products.
How soon will I receive my order?
Once your order has been processed (see item description for processing time) we will ship via USPS and delivery will occur within 3-5 business days for orders within the United States. If you need an item sooner than that we suggest purchasing the express shipping upgrade during checkout which will reduce processing time by a couple days and also reduce ship time to 1-2 days. It also helps to note what date you need them by.
If you are located outside the US shipping times range from 6-10 business days and we encourage you to contact us if you are in a rush and we can get you an estimate on rush processing/shipping.
I placed an order a few days ago and haven't heard from you?
As long as you received the order confirmation from Etsy, your order has been received by me and I will not be contacting you unless I have a question regarding your order.
Can I put my logo or design I made on the cork?
Absolutely! There is actually an option within our shop for this and you would then email me the logo/design to deidra [!at] corkeycreations.com EPS files are preferred and image must be black and white only. If there is any design work to make your image printable (i.e., change to black and white, converting to correct file type, etc) there will be a $20 charge, but in most cases artwork files sent work just fine.
Can I use a different font other than the ones shown?
Yes, we can do almost any font and you would just pick one of the designs for the personalized corks and just leave us a note that you would like it a different font.
Do you have any discount codes or offer any discounts?
We do our very best to keep prices as low as possible to begin with and want all of our customers to receive the same, fair pricing. Please understand the handmade items are not cheap to make and there are a lot of hidden costs involved. However, we may offer a few discounts throughout the year during site-wide Etsy sales and those discounts will show up on the listing and will automatically apply during checkout.
