Where it all began.....

As every good artist knows, choosing the right frame can make or break a piece of art.
However, having helped my partner to run his photography business, here in beautiful North Wales, for the past 20 yrs. I am very familiar with the problems involved in finding this sometimes elusive 'right frame'. In the past, wherever we tried we always seemed to to have to compromise in some way, be it on quality, style, size or price.

So after a lot of research on the best materials and techniques, I decided to set up a small workshop in the corner of our studio and make some frames myself and this is how Cornel Dawn was born. ( Cornel Dawn is Welsh for Dawn's corner by the way)

Since then my fledgling business has grown and I now supply quality frames and mounts not only to my partner and other artists but also photo frames to the wider public. because as we all know, photographs of our most precious moments are just as important as the most expensive art and deserve to be displayed in the best way possible.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns must be unused, in their original packaging and in the condition they were received.
Return shipment costs are the responsibility of the buyer and I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage during return shipment. I therefor advise that a trackable and insured service is used and any proof of postage is retained.

I accept all types of payment as outlined on the Etsy website
Shipping
Most UK orders will be shipped via Royal Mail 2nd class. In accordance with Royal Mails policy your package may be left with a neighbour if you are not home to recieve it. Please contact me before making your purchase if you do not want your package left with a neighbour.

If any items are damaged during shipping please contact me immediately with photographic evidence of the damage so I may open a claim with the service provider.

International Shipping
International shipping will be by Royal Mail signed and tracked.
Please be aware that packages may be occasionaly delayed at customs therfore delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. The buyer is responsible for any customs charges the package may incur.
