Note from shop owner Hello All! I am helping to start a brand new ceramic studio in Brooklyn and the work demand is huge right now as we are about to open. I hope to be up soon though with a new line and ready to take at least a few orders for the holidays. P.S. New work will be fired in a reduction kiln (translation: better). Looking forward.

See you all soon.

With thanks and love,
Cor

I LOVE them! Colors are beautiful and they're perfect! The price was great and they were really well packaged. Quick shipping too! A wonderful artist to deal with! She deserves way more than 5 stars!!

About

Former Art Therapist with Medical Illness Turned to her Art with the Hope of Giving Back

Hello,

My name is Cor. I used to work as an art therapist. I worked with many different populations but I especially loved working with people with addictions and children with special needs. I planned to continue doing this work for years. Medical Illness struck, however, and I was no longer able to work a normal 9-5 job. In an attempt to cope with my new illness, I turned to my art, ( as I had encouraged so many before me to do). Friends suggested I start selling my work to help pay the bills and thus, Cor Pottery was born. Having been someone who cared deeply about giving back, I wanted to make my pottery helpful in some way. So I decided to donate a percentage of all my sales to a charity of my choice. Last year, I donated to CitiHarvest in NYC. They have helped feed millions of New Yorkers for over 30 years.

Cor Pottery blends earthy with modern using a variety of techniques including: throwing, hand building, and slip casting. Cor makes her pottery and glazes in small batches so each piece is unique and special.

I hope you enjoy Cor Pottery and can find something lovely for yourself or someone dear.

Sincerely,
Cor
