“Once upon a time………. “ This is how fables begin and this is how my fable began. Yes, because once upon a time there was a very small meat slicer which was so perfect that it made me fall in love with the world of miniatures.
My love for miniature collection, started at the end of the eighties, soon lead me to try to miniaturize everything around me - I have always been artistically inclined and good with my hands. After spending some years to further my experience and knowledge of this art, I decided to take the plunge, that is, to transform my hobby into my work
It was then that I opened a shop called COSEDIUNALTROMONDO nel 1995 . Today this shop- laboratory is both my life’s joy and sorrow.
My shop is unique in Italy as this kind of hobby/art was almost unknown and it is only now that it is starting to be appreciated and valued from an artistic point of view. This is also thanks to my friends, my customers and the collectors who have helped me to grow.
Walking into my shop in Via Solari 12 in Milan, I still feel as if I am dreaming. When I see all the dolls’ houses, and the miniature rooms and shops, all in different styles and carefully reproduced, perfect down to the smallest detail, I feel so satisfied that I even forget all the sacrifices that I inevitably have to make for this work.
I am very particular about the objects I choose for my collection and those I produce in my laboratory: they must be realistic, beautiful and refined. I spend much time and energy looking for the best suppliers in the world and continually strive to fulfill the thirst for innovation that is typical of collectors.
