Returns:
Hey, it happens- something you thought would be perfect for you turns out to not work after all- I certainly understand- and want to assure you that if you open up your package and simply don't like the piece and want to return it, that's OK.
(I request that you please contact me Via Etsy "contact"and tell me if you plan on sending it back.)

My Requirements for return:

1)The item is required to be returned in it's original UNWORN condition,

2) in it's original packaging (box or pouch) packed with ample padding to protect the item during shipping

3)the piece needs to be shipped back within one week( your package Postmarked within 1 week of your receipt of the order.)
Customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Returns after 1 week of receipt of goods will be for store credit only.
**I do not accept returns on jewelry that has been obviously worn or damaged by misuse

Breakage/repairs
if a piece breaks (within 30 days of receipt of goods) due to faulty materials please contact me asap and I will work with you on replacing or repairing the problem. If there is a repair needed after the 30 day period, repair charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

While I build each piece to last, sometimes life can get in the way and bump things up a bit- I do repair my work when needed (in 25 plus years of making and selling my handmade jewelry I'm happy to say I've needed to do very few repairs on my pieces)

Repair charges:
As all repairs are different , the repair charges are quoted on a case by case basis.

Ring sizing:
depending on the ring's metal and any design details I would have to re-create ring sizing charges can range from $10-50. (it's usually around 15-25)

Refinishing:
Yes, I would be happy to re-finish your piece- after being worn constantly some pieces can use a little touch up now and then. Refinish charges are similar to repair charges- they very from piece to piece- For my more complex pieces like the strap bracelets I charge $45 for a complete re-strap and re-finish (polished metal, new patina) I can make a piece satin finish, tumbled (dull glow) or high polish.

I accept
Credit Cards, Paypal, gift certificates issued either through this shop or through Etsy.

Arizona-
Fellow Arizona residents- in accordance with AZ state laws I am obligated to charge AZ sales tax on all Arizona orders.(this will be added to your total in the paypal checkout)

I ship first class, United States Postal Service, without shipping insurance (unless specified in item's description) Tracking is included with each shipment- I send a notification email to my customers when I send out each package- the tracking number will be listed in the notification email.

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ADDRESS!
before you complete your order. I often send orders out on the same day. When I get a change of address request after the piece is sent I cannot do anything to change it's destination. That means that the piece will go to the old address, and possibly will be returned to sender (me).
If a piece is returned to me I send an email to the buyer's address which is in their etsy profile. The customer is responsible for any extra shipping expenses from re-sending a package.

Please note: I will not replace items that are lost in the mail due to incorrect address.

International orders-
customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer. I have no control over customs charges, or the speed of shipping to countries outside of the USA. I will do everything I can to make your items reach you safely, in as little time as possible.

Packaging:
I ship most of my items in a small padded envelope
flat items are usually packed in a jewelry baggie, with supporting information and contact info.

more 3 dimensional items (like post earrings, rings with stones, bracelets, necklaces and pendants for example) are packed in a small craft paper jewelry box ( made with 100% recycled materials)

Large items (like my pewter boxes) are packed with bubble wrap and shipped in an appropriately sized box.

Time.....
I pride myself with my fast delivery- in fact, I usually get a piece in the mail the day after it is ordered. However, my OFFICIAL POLICY ON SHIPPING is this: Items that are currently in stock and will ship via United States Postal Service within 5 working days of receipt of payment. Custom ( Made to order) pieces shipping times vary.

In a Rush?
You can usually upgrade to rush delivery- depending on if the piece is in stock and ready to ship. if you have a deadline closing in, and need an asap delivery please let me know and I will do what I can to get it in the mail super fast. I am easy to work with, and want to help my customers get their orders when they need them. I promise also to be honest about the possibility of rush shipping- if I don't believe it can be rush shipped I will say so.

Orders of more than one item going to the same address are mailed together in a box or padded mailer (depending on size of pieces)

the following is specific info on Special Orders:Because a special order is made to suit a specific personal request (and is not an item that I would normally carry in my regular inventory) I do not accept returns on Special Orders.

I will do my best to make your special order piece fit your exact requirements-
However, if you receive your special order piece and decide that you aren't happy with the way it turned out (though the piece meets the description that we agreed upon when the piece was ordered) I will make an honest effort to make it work for you...within reason.

I will not re-make or modify beyond the original speculations that were originally agreed upon at the initial purchase

At the most, I may offer store credit if I see any possibility of selling the special order item to another customer (if I think it could fit back in my inventory). I will do my best to make things work for both buyer and seller, within reasonable limits of time, material and expertise.

I reserve the right to decide whether or not to enter into a special order agreement
I also pledge that I will only take on projects that I am certain that my time and skill sets will allow.

I will never take a project that I am not 100% certain that I can complete with the highest level of craftsmanship and professional service.
