These are fantastic! They look so good on my girls and so easy to reverse sides. Would love for you to do more patterns especially a denim one. Will check back in the future to buy more!

Return shopper here, my niece loved her larger bag this past Christmas. Rachel is a delight to work with and her quality is amazing.

About

A Love Affair with Textiles, Paper, and Ink

When I was a kid my uncle penned these words of me: "More active than a thunderstorm, she has dimple sided grins..." The truth of this small phrase could echo off my studio walls all day long. As the owner of Cotton and Cursive, I work as a seamstress, quilter, and calligrapher. I possess an intense love for well-lit (and warm) workspaces, vibrant colors that maybe only match to me, soft cotton, sharp tools, and all things whimsically, architecturally, graphically, aesthetically, ruggedly, and simply beautiful.

I've always dreamed of owning my own shop... getting to make goods and bring delight to customers with products I designed, crafted, and found beautiful and funky and cool. In the summer of 2014, as I soaked up the creativity of Uppercase Magazine, looking for ideas for my fall art class with 4th and 5th graders, it came-- the spark. I fiddled with a new design I'd never before considered for quilting, mulling over a friend's baby quilt, maybe a baby rattle, this and that. I sat at my desk and then at my sewing machine, formulating and making a prototype of the Quilted Zipper Case. It may still be my favorite bag.

Later that summer the plan to open Cotton and Cursive, then nameless, just an idea, became irreversible. I traveled to Nova Scotia with my family, a warm, lush, and gorgeous province. We visited this little stationery shop called Inkwell in Halifax and I could just see my work there. It fit. It was beautiful enough... and whimsical enough... and all of the things. I simply could not stop the idea now.

And so, truly, began Cotton and Cursive.

The shop officially opened on February 16, 2015 and here I am. Do look around and say hi. And, of course, thanks for the company.
