5 out of 5 starsLooks exactly as pictured. 3mm is thick enough ( I have seen 5mm advertised in other ships) to be effective coasters. I got three designs. All wonderfully chic and mix/match.

5 out of 5 starsThis is probably my third purchase from Erin. I have been very happy with everything I have purchased and these coasters are no exception. First off, the green fabric is beautiful and has a very definite contemporary feel which goes well in my home. From a functional standpoint, they don't present the problems I have had with other types of coasters that stick to a cold drink or show water rings. I have another set of Erin's coasters (different color) that I have had for about a year. When it came time to replace coasters in another room in the house, I immediately thought about these. They are perfect.

Modern throw pillows, felt coasters, and linen tabletop goods: hand drawn patterns, unique textile home decor.
Erin Dollar is the owner, maker, and designer behind Cotton & Flax. Since 2012, she has been creating limited edition textile goods from her home studio in Los Angeles, California. Her collection of hand-printed pillows, tea towels, felt coasters, and linen napkins are designed to help brighten your home, and bring thoughtful design into everyday life.
Each step of the creation of Cotton & Flax textiles is completed by Erin, beginning with the pattern design and the selection of heirloom quality fabrics. Erin draws each pattern by hand using brush and ink, and the drawing is later transferred to a silkscreen to create multiples on textiles. When it comes time to do the printing, Erin combs through local sources to find beautiful linen and linen blend fabrics to hand print with her designs. She then carefully hand prints each piece of fabric with her original designs, which she later sews into pillows, tea towels, napkins, or coasters.
Cotton & Flax textiles are made using natural materials, like linen fabrics and water based inks. Erin chooses linen and linen blend fabrics for their unique qualities: high absorbency, durability, and increased softness with time (while staying lint-free). Cotton & Flax provides heirloom quality home decor, which you can share with friends and family for a lifetime.
The striking hand drawn patterns set Cotton & Flax textiles apart as a blending of fine art and fine craft. In using traditional methods to print each textile piece, Erin hopes to share her love of printmaking, and to promote greater public interest in owning unique, handmade home goods.
