At Cottonwood Workshop we love hand crafted finishes, whether its for cushions, coasters, blankets, picture frames, mirrors or upcycled wooden stools.

We aim to use the best quality wool or acrylic yarns for our crochet coasters, knitted cushions or blankets, enhanced with beautifully textured finishes, cables, basket weave or bobble stitches.

Our picture frames, wall mirrors, wooden stools and other items of furniture are either from second hand sources or handmade buy us. Either way they're finished with top quality emulsion paints, giving them a contemporary look. We also make coat racks, clocks, mirrors and other home ware items out of recycled painters planks or pallet wood.

Since Cottonwood Workshop launched in April 2016 we've regularly added new lines. You can follow us on Etsy, or on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ( you'll find the links for these below ) to keep up to date with what's currently happening.

Updates

We've just made the most of this glorious sunshine to catch up on our product photography. This upcycled mango wood and painters plank stool is our first remake and one of many new items that will appear over the next two weeks.

About

Cottonwood Workshop ~ Everything from Crochet & Knitted Cushions to Mirrors, Frames & Furniture

Cottonwood Workshop as a business grew out of our enthusiasm for hand crafting. Initially we made crochet pieces or knitted cushions just for ourselves, family or friends. In 2014 ideas started forming for a business based on these skills. What we thought Cottonwood Workshop might be like slowly gestated. In the end it came down to a few things we most valued: that it would be enjoyable, ethical, creative, collaborative, distinctive and consistent.

Hardly a day passes without one of us being found holding knitting needles or a crochet hook, halfway through the process of making a knitted blanket or crochet coaster, or assembling a wall mirror, painting a wooden stool or picture frame. We are both keen to continue improving our skills, not just for our own creative satisfaction, but also for the benefit of those who buy from us.
