Counting Stars is my shop for upcycled, repurposed, recycled, and otherwise eco-friendly creations. The bulk of what you will find here is sewn items, typically made from clothing removed from my wardrobe and items I've found at thrift stores. I use as much repurposed/upcycled fabric as possible, but use some new notions and always use new thread.

I do some paper crafting, though I am moving away from that. While the paper crafting is rarely 100% repurposed materials, I do use a lot of magazine clippings and thin cardboard that would otherwise be thrown away or recycled.

Returns and exchanges
If you receive an item which you would like to return or exchange, please contact me. I cannot accept returns on some of my items, but others I can--this is on a case by case basis.
Payment
At the present time, I only accept PayPal for payment. If you are interested in purchasing something but do not use PayPal, please contact me to see if we can work out another method of payment. If you need help navigating PayPal, I will be happy to assist.
Shipping
All of my shipping costs cover the cost of exterior packaging, First Class shipping, and Delivery Confirmation (where applicable).

My regular shipping days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. I do travel frequently for my day job, so check my shop announcement to determine if there may be a longer delay for your item to ship.

If I have over-charged for shipping by more than $1, I will refund the difference. I have worked out my shipping costs to be as low as possible, but multi-item orders will occasionally throw off the shipping cost.

If you purchase an item from http://scarywhitegirl.etsy.com at the same time you purchase one from this shop, I will be happy to combine shipping between my two shops. Please pay each invoice separately, and I will refund the excess charges.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am always happy to accept custom orders. If you're looking for a different size, color, or style of something in this shop, feel free to ask me about making you a custom piece. I do run into some limitations when looking for supplies for custom items, but I am always happy to give it a shot!

If you are interested in selling my items in a brick and mortar shop, please feel free to contact me. I prefer to do wholesale orders, but I may be willing to do consignment in some circumstances.
