4 out of 5 starsQuality is good. I was not aware that the design had to be transferred so I had to purchase a lightbox in order to trace the pattern onto the fabric. Probably should state that in your ad.

A bit of a late bloomer to art . . .
A bit of a late bloomer to art, I started drawing when I was in my early 20s. I found the book "Drawing with Lee Ames" at a library book sale. I took it home and drew every one of the exercises. I then found "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards and worked my way through that book and knew I found what I wanted to do.
After drawing my garden and old buildings in the ghost towns we like to visit, I decided to put some of my drawings into needlework patterns. I started with cross stitch and eventually hand embroidery. My needlework business has evolved to what it is today with my patterns being available on Etsy and ICG Crafts. I've come to design greeting cards, prints, fabric, gift items and I've had some needlework designs published in magazines. I've recently started doing freelance illustration work and have done illustrations for magazines, novels, children's books and book covers.
I continue to learn and try to improve my skills by taking classes online and really enjoy my work. I look forward to many more years of drawing and designing. I really appreciate the customers and clients who enjoy my work, thank you.

I'm one of the many out there who love flowers and nature and I use the inspiration to create colorful flowery needlework patterns and watercolor paintings.
