I create to inspire courage with the written Word.

Growing up, I loved the smell of new crayons and new books. I guess it was the vision of a fresh creation or a fresh adventure that gave me a sense of joy. I have always dabbled with sketching and painting, and given a pen, I was likely to find myself doodling.

Life's ups and downs brought not only special and happy moments, like getting married and having children, but challenging circumstances as well. Apart from my own moments like these, doing life with people, exposed me to many experiencing a multitude of difficult and challenging situations. Inspired by God's faithfulness in my own life, I now found myself sending out a lot of scripture based cards that would not only deliver cheer, but also deliver a message of hope to those who needed it.

Sensing God's tug on my heart to use the gifts He had given me to encourage others in my path, soon resulted in the creation of Courage In Color. Lifting spirits with color, and inspiring courage with God's Word, became the purpose of my handmade line of encouragement cards. Using colorful paper, beautiful embellishments, ribbons and the like ,as well as, pen and ink, allows me to provide a variety of one of a kind cards, especially in the inspirational market.
I also delight in creating custom orders...I love meeting a specific need, or simply bringing someone's vision to life . These orders usually help to develop my creativity and design using more varied techniques.

Courage In Color now offers handmade cards, journals, wood decor and apparel - all made to encourage!

I welcome custom orders where I can create for specific occasions and circumstances, so don't hesitate to contact me with your idea or need. It is my hope that my items, which are all carefully designed and created, will serve to bring lasting encouragement to those who receive them.

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
I take pride in creating every order with care and attention to detail, to provide a quality and meaningful product for you. However, in the event that you are not satisfied with your order, or it becomes damaged in transit, please convo me immediately, and I will be happy to work out a solution with you.

Journal Orders: Journals purchased may be returned, unused, for a refund within 7 days of item being received by you. You will be responsible for shipping costs and we ask that you use careful packaging so as to ensure that your return will be received in good condition. Upon receipt, in good condition, we will immediately issue you a full refund.
Payment
Custom orders will require pre-payment in full and are non-refundable. However, please contact me.

Taxes will apply where applicable.
Shipping
Orders will be mailed via USPS first class mail, unless it is more cost effective to you, for me to send it via one of the priority mail flat rate options because of weight/size (these include $50. insurance as well as tracking).
If you require rush options that are not listed on my store, please convo me and I will be happy to meet your specific need and give you applicable rates to choose from.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders will require pre-payment in full, and cannot be cancelled or refunded, once order is placed.
