Make Every Day a Special Occasion

I believe that we as women, no matter our age, size, color, should feel beautiful every day. Some of us are wives, some of us are mothers, some of us have never been married and don't plan to, some of us have children that are all grown, some of us are business women and captains of industry. Some of us are just starting out, figuring out where we fit in life and what we want, and some of us live day-to-day in a well-worn groove that we love. But the one thing we all have in common regardless of all of that is, we are women, first and foremost. I believe that each of us should let that beauty shine. I hope to help women find something that makes them feel beautiful through my jewelry. And that is why I started The Rustic Lily

My creative journey began when I was just a little girl. My Nana was a very crafty lady and she and I would spend hours making little trinkets that filled the shelves of my bedroom. Her love of all things creative was passed along to my mother, who is incredibly talented and they both instilled that love in me. I remember being in the 4th grade and making intricate friendship bracelets at the request of the other girls in my class. As I got older, I began making my own jewelry when I couldn't find things that fit my style or was just what I was looking for. In high school, friends began asking where I got my jewelry from and upon hearing that I made it myself, would ask for their own handmade pieces. Fast forward many years, and I found myself a new, first-time mom, with a husband who had a demanding job that required him to travel a lot. With a lot more knowledge than I had had in high school, and some new skills, I picked back up with jewelry making and soon found that I loved it just as much, if not more, as I had back in my younger years.

And so The Rustic Lily was born. What started as a hobby to fill the empty hours became a passion that I wanted to share with women and give them something to feel pretty in. It's evolved over the years since I first hit that "open shop" button, as both my style and tastes have changed and where I'm at in life has changed. It started rather bare, with little experiments here and there while I figured out what my style was and what direction I wanted to go in. I closed it down for about 8 months right around the birth of my daughter, to not only spend time with my growing little family, but to also re-focus and re-brand and so, in August of 2012, my shop officially became The Rustic Lily. Along with the re-branding and re-focus, I added our children's line, Little Lily, to showcase all of the cute headbands and such I was having too much fun making for my new babe and as gifts for friends with their own little ones on the way. My shop is a mix of the things I love: things I've made with my own hands, things from the past given a new life as something else and stellar vintage items that I just couldn't pass up because I knew someone else out there would love them as much as I did.

I hope that you find something here that speaks to you, and that makes you feel beautiful when you wear it. A little piece of me goes into everything I make and it thrills me beyond belief to have people all over the globe wearing those little pieces of love. My pieces have been part of weddings, special date nights, honeymoons and just the beauty that is every day. I am so humbled and so honored that you have chosen to take that little piece of me along with you on your journey.

Welcome to The Rustic Lily Boutique! I craft handmade women's jewelry, accessories and fun household items and also offer great vintage finds I've picked along the way. My children's line, Little Lily, offers fun clothing and accessories for your little one. Some of my items are made from up-cycled or vintage items that I've found along the way, so they are one-of-a-kind creations. I love to make custom creations, so if there's something you'd like that you don't see offered, or you'd like something in a different size, color, whatever, shoot me an email and I'll do my best to make it happen!

Please, please, PLEASE! Make sure you read the details of each listing. I try to make sure everything is accurately explained and described so that you know exactly what to expect from your Rustic Lily item. I know it can be frustrating as a buyer to purchase something and then have your expectations fall short when it arrives-believe me, it is just as, if not more, frustrating for us sellers, especially when we've taken the time to spell everything out and give detailed descriptions. The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Full refunds (less shipping costs) or even exchanges are available on non-personalized/special order items in the following instances: item is broken/damaged upon arrival or with normal use (within one month of delivery), or the item is never delivered to/received by the buyer (must show an undelivered status-not returned to sender status-on tracking information.) You MUST contact me to arrange return/exchange authorization within 1 week of items being received (except if item becomes damaged with use within 2 weeks.)
All items must be returned in their original condition. (Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.) A refund for the purchase price, minus shipping, will be processed once the items are returned to me. Shipping on all return and exchange items is at the expense of the buyer. With exchanges, the buyer will pay at least one half of the shipping costs to ship the new item (amount will vary item to item, so please contact me if you would like to do an exchange.) Partial refunds or re-creations are available on custom order/personalized items in certain circumstances. No other refunds will be issued-sorry, no refunds for buyer's remorse or delays caused by elements outside of my control, such as postal delays. Buyer, by purchasing, agrees to buy items as described, so please read descriptions carefully and contact me if you need anything clarified about an item BEFORE purchasing. If you have a question regarding refunds and exchanges, please email me. I am happy to work with you!
In the event that your item arrives damaged or broken, I can either offer you a refund or a replacement. Replacement items will be shipped at the buyer's expense (but you will not have to pay for the item a second time.)
This shop happily accepts PayPal, Credit Cards and Etsy gift cards. If payment is not received and confirmed within 48 hours of sale, the sale will be canceled and the item re-listed. If the payment is cancelled before the item is shipped, a full refund including shipping fees will be issued, minus $0.20 for re-listing.

If requesting a reserved listing (meaning an item already listed in the shop that you would like me to put on hold for you) or a custom listing (meaning a listing that has been created and reserved for a custom item request), please purchase your item within 48 hours. If not purchased within that time frame, it will be un-reserved and available to anyone. If you need longer, please let me know when requesting your listing and we will make arrangements.
All orders are shipped via USPS and include delivery confirmation so that you are able to track your item once it has shipped. If you would like your item shipped via a different carrier, I am happy to do so-please contact us prior to purchase so that I may get an accurate shipping quote for you. Your item(s) will be shipped 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday), unless otherwise indicated in the item's listing, after payment confirmation. Custom and made-to-order/personalized items ship 2 weeks after payment confirmation unless otherwise indicated in the item's listing. Items ship Monday through Friday-if you need your item sooner, please indicate at checkout and I will be happy to oblige if able. I can and am happy to do rush orders in most situations-please contact me if needing a rush order. See the "Additional Information" section of the shop's policies for more information on rush orders. Overnight and expedited shipping are available at additional costs-please convo me for rates. For custom or made-to-order holiday items, order deadlines will be posted in both the shop announcement and on The Rustic Lily's Facebook and Instagram pages.

Please make sure that you enter the correct address to where you would like your item delivered at checkout-I am not responsible for packages not received or returned to me due to customers providing incorrect addresses. I am more than happy to resend packages that are returned to me due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses- the additional shipping costs of resending the item in these cases are be the responsibility of the buyer.

I CANNOT guarantee that your item will arrive by a certain date. I can only give estimates, as that is the only information the USPS will provide me, even on Express and Priority-shipped items. Most items should arrive to you 2-3 days from when they are shipped when shipped via First Class Mail (Priority is supposed to arrive in no longer than 2 days from ship date and Express in no longer than 1), but some can (and have) take longer. Postal delays can and do happen, and while unfortunate and frustrating for both you and me, they are completely outside of my control. That said, I will always do everything in my power to ensure your package reaches you.

The Rustic Lily is located in Lakeland, FL-I do offer local pick-up if you live in the area. If you would like this option, please convo me before purchasing and I will set a reserved listing for you minus shipping.

In an effort to cut down on waste and shipping costs to you, we do recycle shipping and packing materials, so sometimes your product will arrive in a "second-hand" package.

We are happy to ship outside of the US-please contact us for shipping rates to your country and we'll be happy to set up a reserved listing for you.
Additional policies and FAQs
When placing a custom order, please send accurate information regarding what your desires are for your finished product. ALL custom/made-to-order items are FINAL SALE-I offer exchanges only on these items, so please be clear on what your desires are for your finished item. Since these items are made to order, please allow extra time after purchase for creation and shipping-it will vary based on the item and amount of man hours necessary. The turn around time will be communicated to you. Most of our made-to-order items have a turn around time of 1-2 weeks, unless otherwise indicated in the item's listing. I can do rush orders, so please let me know if you have time restraints when placing your order and I will do my best to accommodate. There will be a rush processing fee for all rush orders-it will be based on how quickly the item is needed and the amount of time needed to create the item in the rushed turnaround time. Please convo me for rates.

FEEDBACK: As always, I want to keep 100% feedback rating on Etsy. Some items contain small parts that could become a choking hazard. If any Rustic Lily/Little Lily clothing or accessories posses small parts, the child should be watched under adult supervision at all times. The Rustic Lily is not responsible for any injuries that may occur as a result of unsupervised use of our products.

All onesies and toddler tees are pre-washed in all-natural laundry detergent and preshrunk.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I know when my order will ship?
Before purchasing, you can check the shipping timeframe on all items listed in my shop. After purchasing, if you go to your purchases, your order should show a "ship by" date-this is the date your order will be delivered to the post office. Please note-this is the day your order ships, not the day you will receive it.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Most orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail, which usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive once delivered to the post office, but can take up to 7 business days (business days are Monday through Friday-does not include weekends.) Priority Mail usually takes 2 business days.

What is the difference between rush processing and rush shipping?
Each listing mentions the turnaround time for that item (turnaround time is the time from when your order is place to when your order is shipped)-if you need an item shipped in a shorter turnaround time than what is listed, you will need rush processing. Rush processing gets your item created/processed and ready to ship faster than the usual turnaround time. Rush shipping uses either Priority Shipping or Express Shipping services to get your item to you faster once delivered to the post office-as mentioned above, First Class Mail can take up to 7 business days to arrive once shipped.
