About

Created to help us support the adoption of our son and his continual health needs

I started this shop out of desperation to be honest. I am a stay at home mom who lives in the middle of nowhere and couldn't think of anyway to help my family fundraise to bring our son home from China. I love creating new items and was encouraged to just go with it and start a new shop!

Our little boy in China is four years old and has a lifelong condition called thalassemia b major. He will need blood transfusions twice a month for the remainder of his life. There are always possible complications but we have the highest hope that he will live a long and happy life!

Our adoption journey is chronicled over on our blog
www.riversandmiles.blogspot.com

*** I am always thrilled to help out others who are adopting. If you are hosting a fundraiser and are looking for items to be donated please don't hesitate to ask!***
