Growing up, my parents always made sure that every birthday party was extra special and that all of life's great events were celebrated to the fullest... The invitation sets the tone for a party, and designing them with my mom was always my favorite part. A love of creating incredible celebrations definitely stuck with me and once I started making invitations and stationery, I just couldn't stop! Playing even a small role in the most memorable occasions in people's lives is something that truly makes me smile.

Pre-Paper, I was busy creating with a sewing machine! In 2007, I started making tote bags out of old t-shirts and I happily made them for my friends as they all started to ask for one. Within months, they were in stores across the US, and since most of the t-shirts I had at the time were from my dad's gigantic beer t-shirt collection, the Brew Bag was born and so was Poison Ivy Designs... PID for short.

Operating out of my Queens, NY apartment, where I live with my husband and our sweet little pup, I specialize in making one-of-a-kind, handmade wedding and event invitations, stationery, favors, accessories, decor and gifts. I still find so much joy in taking something old and making it new again with my upcycled totes, clutches and pillows made from recycled t-shirts and ties. When I'm swimming in work, and need some assistance with orders, my mom and my sister are my best helpers!
