~~HOW TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT SIZE~~
(For the purchasing of Satin Bodice Dresses)

````I have to have measurements!! With 1 inch" of of EASE added to their actual size. when selecting the appropriate option it needs to be selected with the ease added in. Otherwise the dress will be made as if the ease were added and the dress will come out 1 inch too small.

To make my job much easier, please read through the size chart I have posted {you can find it in every listing I have active in the photo section}

If you are unsure on what or how to measurement, I have information below to help. If you are still unsure, please contact me and I will be glad to help in any way I can.

*Here is what I will need measurements of:
*Chest (around the widest point/section - or the nipple line)
*Waist (1 inch above the belly button)
*Hips (if needed i.e. if hips are wider than the chest)
*Full Height (head to toe)
*Length from the top of the shoulder to right below the knee (standard tea length)
~~(If you upgrade to floor length I will add an additional 1-1.5" of length due to the unevenness of the feather) You can trim if needed. **Better to have it longer than shorter - you can take away length, but you cant add more**

~~These sizes are NOT daily wear - STREET SIZE, they are FORMAL DRESSES made SLIM & FITTED they have NO STRETCH **
So please do not order a size and assure me the size you chose (without following the size chart) will fit. 99.9% of the time it doesn't. With that being said it ends up costing the customer extra money for shipping to me and returning back, plus alteration fees, and extra time from me - time that I need to use on the rest of my orders...(I am always booked full and work day and night every day). So that extra time is very valuable to me and my work.

**Important information about Rush Order Upgrades**
If you choose the rush order upgrade which is for the shipping upgrade (which is priority) and moving your order to the top of my work list (this is for both in state and international orders). The rush order fee is added automatically to the original fee. If this is a last minute order and you do not select the priority - rush option, I will have to set up a private listing for the appropriate cost.

RUSH ORDER FEES

**Priority- Your order will be the next in line after I get the current orders out that I am working on.

**Expedite- Your order is first in line, turn around time is 48 hours (making the dress and shipping)

**Expedite and Overnight- Your order is first in line, turn around time is 24 hours and shipping overnight.

***Working under high-pressure deadlines, I charge accordingly***
When an order is a rushed I will have to work double or triple overtime to get the done, or I have to push all other work down the priority list—especially if this will put other deadlines in jeopardy.
“I.E.” Rush fees are charged to take the sting out of the aggravation. It is common business practice to charge a premium for rush work.
I am a professional and deserve the treatment—and payment—that corresponds to that professionalism.
*Priority- I will accept the order, but I will start on it when my other orders are due before your.
*Expedite- I will accept the order, but it will wreak havoc with my my other orders due within the same time-frame you need, but I could make it happen with support.
**If my business is slow with a low volume of orders, no rush fee will need to be applied.

I can only assume that my shop policies have been read thoroughly as well as my shop announcements and Q&A’s. Just in case the important information regarding international customers slipped through the cracks and wasn't read, here are some more important information to keep in mind…
**International Non-Receipt of items: Refunds and/or returns will not be processed for non-receipt due to refusal to pay customs duties, taxes or other fees applied.
**Delays: Should there be a delay on orders because of transit times or customs clearances, please let me know immediately and i will try to help out however I can.
However - I will not be held RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAYS - once it leaves my possession it is handled by the Postal Service which is an Establishment of the Federal Government.
**Marking CUSTOMS LABELS as a “GIFT”: As a word of caution, I will never ship a package overseas labeled as a “gift” to avoid import fees/taxes, its against the law and a serious federal charge and in no way worth the risk.
*The total amount of your purchase will be shown on the customs label, please note, in most cases, high dollar order will have a higher customs fees. I will not be responsible for paying the fees. It is the customer's responsibility to research the percentage amount of fees based off of your total amount of your purchase.

ONCE AGAIN I WILL REPEAT MYSELF AS THIS IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
I am not and will not be responsible for customs and duty fees as well as customs withholding packages.
PLEASE be AWARE that my shipping time-frame does not include possible delays while being held in customs. I have no control over delays with packages IF they are being held.****

The only way an item can be refunded is very of the item arrives to you damaged, if the item is sent to you and then gets damaged while in your care, it can not be returned for a refund. It must be returned in the same condition as it left.
(I can tell if the item was intentionally damaged because of the way I construct each item.

**I do accept cancellations without deductions if the cancellations are made within 12 hours of the purchase. If there cancellation is after the 12 hour period I will have to deduct the cost of materials purchased to complete the order and also the Etsy seller fees**

****CUSTOM MADE ITEMS CAN NOT BE RETURNED FOR A REFUND (Satin Top Feather Flower Girl Dress)**** - for the reason of each of these dresses are custom made to each of your little princess size, thus saying- not all average sizing are the same from one person to the next Please make sure that the item you are creating is exactly what you want before purchases. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may be.

**INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I will ONLY issue refunds if you refuse to accept your package and it is returned to me with tracking. Once I receive the package, only then will I issue the refund for the purchase price of the dress - not including shipping fees.

All the feather dresses are made to fit right below the knees - tea length. I use standard sizing for the appropriate age if no measurements are giving when asked.
If you wish to have a longer length please request and an extra fee would be charged.

FOR TUTU SETS and SKIRTS PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
Due to each little tutu set being made by hand there can be a slight variation in color shades of color, embroidery thread/design, fabric/tulle placements, embellishments, ribbons, charms/beads, tulle, etc as each piece is handmade for and I try to make my outfits as unique as possible. I recommend tights, leggings or shorties under all tutus due to possible skin sensitivity.
When receiving your tutu or tutu dress it will not look the same as in the picture you saw (it will be smooched/crushed from packaging. No worries, you can easily refluff them by working through the tulle and separating each piece. You can also use a hand-steamer and that will get the job done quick... and your dress will look just as beautiful as the one pictured.

*** Crochet tops will unravel if pulled or tugged on, so please be cautious of surroundings when worn**

****Actual colors may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor. Care and Cleaning of Feathers and Feather Dresses

Feathers and feather boas are a natural items, and some care and attention is required to look after them. Proper maintenance of your feathers will keep them looking beautiful, and the information on this page will help you care for your feathers and your feather dresses. Our feathers and feather dresses are clean, properly treated, and are ready for you to use as soon as you receive them.

How to Wash your feather dress

Washing should be done in warm soapy water if needed. Use a liquid dish soap dawn or a detergent like WOOLITE DELICATES. If you ever have to wash your feathers, dry them naturally, never dry with direct heat such. Once dry, steam them to make them nice and fluffy again.

Feather dyes ARE NOT COLOR FAST. Do not mix colors if you wash them. Colors may run if wet.

How to fluff out Feathers and Feather Boas

Feathers and boas naturally dry out over a period of time and lose both their fluffiness and fullness. To restore your feathers and boas back to their original soft and fluffy look, we recommend that you agitate and steam them. This is always a good place to start in order to make them look more attractive.

First, rub the feathers or boas between your hands, gently but firmly. This brings out the feather flu and makes the individual strands fluffier. You can do this with boas as well. The next step is to steam the feathers. (A store bought steamer, or 15 minutes hanging in the bathroom with the hot water running will do) Agitating and steaming the feathers will put moisture back into them, expanding their appearance. This is especially true for peacock and ostrich feathers. Once the feather has opened up, stop. More steaming has little or no effect.

If using a steamer

Shake any dust or excess feathers from your feather boa. Place the boa on a hook or hanger and examine it. Use your fingers to gently tease apart any clumping areas. Look for broken or hairless feathers and remove them as you go. Hold the steamer in an upright position so that condensation flows back inside.Run the steam cleaner up and down the feathers. Pay attention to any areas where the feathers look particularly crushed or bunched. Run the steam cleaner over each side until the boa's feathers are nice and fluffy.

Feather Shedding

Before wearing your custom made feather design, you will want to take some precautions against feather "shedding."
With the feathers being an organic natural fiber they will shed. Please read through the care instruction cards, it has very important information you need to read through.
When receiving the dress and taking it out of the box - there will be feathers that have fallen off inside the box from the trip they have just made and feathers will fall from the dress for the same reason.
When you receive the dress, please take the dress outside while holding it from the shoulders section of the bodice and shake it good to get rid of the loose feathers.
Please repeat these steps for each time the dresses are put on.
I only use premium high quality boas which keeps the shedding to a minimal, some will fall off - but far and few in between.
I use a heavy duty industrial strength bonding glue to take the feathers on. I give each dress a stress test by pulling on each strand to make sure they are not budging. To pull them off or separate them from the dress it will take a lot of strength effort in tugging for them to come off.
So please keep that in mind (remember, each and every one of the dresses are put to test before they are shipped).

My beautiful feathered dresses can be made for infants, babies, toddlers, girls, tweens and teens. I make them for weddings (worn as flower girl dresses and junior bridesmaid dresses), christenings (christening gowns, christening dresses) for infants babies and toddlers, baptisms (baptism gowns - baptism dresses), first birthdays, pageants, daddy daughter dances, proms and any other formal event).

These dresses are unique and classic and can also be seen as rustic and over the top. You can keep and store them as heirloom dresses too - to pass down from one family member or loved one to another.
These dresses are a HUGE HIT at weddings especially when your guests see your little flower girl coming down the isle. Every dress I have made for pageants - the little ones never leave home empty handed.

Each dress is handmade by ME. Made with the utmost attention to detail. I do not make these dresses by generic street size or by age. MEASUREMENTS ARE A MUST - that is the only way I can make your dress custom with a perfect fit.
They DO NOT come floor length - the standard length is knee length and actually falls below the knee with the hanging feathers. Please read below for add on features

I construct these dresses only with the highest quality fabric (satin, taffeta, silk {duchess satin - silk satin - Peau de Soie}, and the highest premium quality feathers.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom and personalized order can not be refunded unless the item was received damaged and not intentionally damaged by buyer. In order to receive a refund the item must be returned back and received 7 shipping days after customer received (excluding Sundays). If item is received after 7 day mark, no refund will be issued and item will be returned back to customer. No returns will be accepted our refunds will be made due to buyers remorse. An item may be eligible for a return/refund if infact the dress was received in a completely different size with different measurements (dress being too tight and too small) that were provided by the customer. If the dress was made accordingly no return/refund will be made.

International Buyers

**The shipping time-frame does not include packages being processed through customs. I will not be held RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS that may occur.
**IMPORT DUTIES/VAT, TAXES, and OTHER CHARGES REQUESTED BY YOUR COUNTRY are not included in the item price or shipping cost,please check your countries rules and regulations for any additional fees you may need to pay

When an order is a rushed I will have to work double or triple overtime to get the done, or I have to push all other work down the priority list—especially if this will put other deadlines in jeopardy.
I am not slow at working, I work everyday - even through holidays and family events... My customers are my #1 Priority.

Can I have my dress FLOOR LENGTH or CUSTOMIZE my dress?

The STANDARD MAKE of my dresses are:
Length: KNEE
Bodice: LOW CUT BACK
Floral Sash: NOT INCLUDED
Hairpieces: NOT INCLUDED
Bodices: NO EMBELLISHMENTS

*~~Please know that adding on the add-ons/upgrades are not listed for higher profit margins for myself, but needed for the extra material fabric being used - the feathers are expensive - altering without charging would make it as the customers were to buy one and get one free

Returns and Exchanges or Request for Refunds

I do not accept return or exchange due to each dress is custom fitted.

I do not offer refunds. A partial refund will be made only if a refund is agreed upon both seller and buyer, minus 20 % for sellers expenses and cost of shipping.
If a refund to the buyer, refunds will be made through the original payment method. Which takes 3 to 5 business days for a PayPal refund to go through. If payment is made with a credit card, it may take up to 30 days to process depending on the card provider.

How do I measure and What if order the wrong size and send the wrong measurements

~~MEASUREMENTS NEEDED IN ORDER TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT SIZE (Rounding Up):
~~Chest (around the widest point/section - or the nipple line) = True Measurement + 1" of positive EASE
~~Waist (1 inch above the belly button) = True Measurement + 1" of positive EASE
~~Hips (if needed i.e. if hips are wider than the chest) = True Measurement + 1" of positive EASE
~~Full Height (head to toe) "HIGHEST IMPORTANCE (need for dress form)"
~~Length from Shoulder to Knee

**I am not responsible for incorrect ordering - altering to correct fit is at the customers expense.

Do I need to stay in contact with the seller

YES...
Please check your messages frequently - I do stay in constant contact, I ask a lot of questions to make sure your order is made accordingly (i.e. measurements!!) When I contact you and ask for measurements. If I receive no reply I will make the dress according to the standard dress sizes appropriate for the size chosen or if the incorrect measurements are given to me, I will not be held responsible for any incorrect fitting and alterations and extra shipping fees will be at buyers cost if you would like to have the alterations done.

Is it the same price to make the feather dresses floor length in each size?

~~When ordering/up grading to floor length the price is not a flat fee for all lengths, the prices vary per each size... For example - making a size 2t and size 6 floor length - it will take more feathers/material and fabric to add length to the size 6 compared to the size 2t - so therefore the floor length upgrade for a size 6 will be a higher price than the 2t~~

We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the product.
