Named for the Cow Creek that runs south of our homestead in rural Rice County, Cow Creek Design Co. was started like many other great companies: in our garage. My husband Luke and I were married in December of 2017 and I made most of the table décor for our wintery rustic themed dinner reception. Thus began the selling of more rustic wood table and home décor to friends, co-workers, and even more people via Etsy. Technically it is a one man (or woman) show, but I wouldn’t have made it this far without the support of my husband, parents, sister, and friends.
After developing a love for western fashion and jewelry, my eyes were opened to the beauty of sterling silver and authentic turquoise jewelry. The opportunity presented itself to take hands on classes to learn this trade and I couldn’t let it pass by. Flash forward a few months and many hard earned lessons later, and here we are. I take great pride in these slow made small batch items I have curated for you. All turquoise stones are of authentic and genuine American mined sources and set in high quality .925 sterling silver. All wood home décor items are cut straight from Rice County and hand crafted by yours truly.
