The Queen ascends to the throne...

My Mamaw (the empress of crochet and quilting) taught me how to crochet when I was 10 years old, and through the years I have picked up crocheting and put it down, each time improving and making more and more great things. Crocheting is a wonderful hobby for those looking to relax, and being a wife, mother, and full time University employee, I simply cannot sit idle when relaxing. Working at my University, I get so cold it my office, and I thought crocheting myself a cowl and arm warmers would be so much better than searching for something to buy. And that is how all this started, my Mamaw, my hobby, my cold office. Thus, the Cowl Queen took her throne.

Born and raised in West Virginia, I now live in North Carolina, but spend as much time as possible in my beloved mountains. All items will be shipped from North Carolina, or West Virginia, depending on where I might be at the time. Montani Semper Liberi!

Additional policies and FAQs
My guarantee:
I guarantee that all items in this shop are handmade by myself (Cowl Queen). All items are made in a pet-free/smoke-free setting. Every item is made with the utmost care!

Custom orders:
Custom orders, by their very nature, take longer to make and take longer to ship to a buyer. Please be patient with me, I will be very communicative during the crocheting process!

Some items listed are discounted due to quality of yarn, in other words, they are things I have made that I would rather get rid of by selling at a discount that have clutter up my house! Usually the yarn has flaws, which were not evident when I purchased it.
Some items will cost more because of the type of yarn used. Wool/alpaca blends are generally more expense, and to cover the cost of labor and materials, an item made from these yarns will cost more.
Another reason for added expense: the cost of the intensity of labor involved to complete the item. The more complex the pattern, the longer it will take to complete it. The same could be said for custom orders.

Generally, most items will be listed with its dimensions and it is up the the buyer to be sure an item will fit comfortably. If you want specific dimensions, please convo me! Some items will be listed with a certain size in mind, so please be sure to read the item descriptions!

I will not accept solicitations for donations. If I choose to donate, I will seek out charitable/not for profit organizations.
