How soon can you expect your cover(s) to be made?
Ready to Ship covers will ship the next business day.
Made to Order and Custom covers will take 5 - 14 business days depending on how deep I am in orders. You are welcome to contact me before placing an order to find a timeframe.

Returns and Exchanges Policy -
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
We can minimize the need for returns and exchanges when you measure your appliances yourself before ordering. Don't use measurements borrowed from a website. Customers who borrow measurements are usually the unhappy ones.

If you forgot to measure and need to have a cover altered, you are welcome to mail it back to me. I charge $10 an hour + return postage to do alterations after an item has shipped.

No Rush Orders
I don't do rush orders. The reason why is they aren't fair to the customers who have already taken the time to place prepaid orders.
To help expedite an order, Priority and Express Mail options are an option if you talk to me prior to placing your order. I highly recommend using spending money on one of those services versus paying a rush order fee.

What form of payments do I accept?
Etsy's checkout will process all major credit and debit cards. They also offer buyer and seller protection. Pay Pal is also accepted through the Etsy checkout.

Etsy will guarantee buyer protection under certain conditions.
I have copied and pasted their policy set June 5, 2017 as follows:
"You can take advantage of the Etsy Purchase Guarantee to get the item you ordered or your money back if you don’t receive an item (non-delivery) or your item is not as described.

Non-Delivery

A non-delivery occurs when you place an order and submit payment but do not receive your item. The following are examples of non-delivery cases:

An item was never sent.
An item was not sent to the address provided on Etsy.
There is no proof that the item was shipped to your address.
Not as Described

An item is not as described if it is materially different from the listing description or photos. The following are examples of not as described cases:

The item received is a different color, model, version, or size than is shown in the photo or described in the listing.
The item has a different design or material.
The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic.
The seller failed to disclose the fact that an item is damaged or is missing parts.
The quantity of items you ordered was not what you received. For example, you purchased three items but only received two.
The condition of the item is misrepresented. For example, the description at the time of purchase said the item was "new" and the item is used.
Not as described cases can also be filed for late delivery. In order to qualify as late delivery, you must provide proof that all of these conditions have been met:
The item(s) were ordered for a specific date or event.
A deadline was agreed upon by the buyer and seller.

How to Use Etsy Purchase Guarantee Benefits

We recommend that you first contact the seller directly to try to reach a resolution. Most sellers have their own shop policies and are eager to address issues like these.

If you've reached out to the seller and haven't heard back, or if you're unable to resolve your issue together, you can file what's known as a "case." Click here to read more about Etsy's case system.

As long as you participate in the case and follow Etsy admin instructions, we'll work to make sure that you receive either the item that you ordered or a full refund of the purchase price and original shipping costs.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for Etsy Purchase Guarantee coverage, you must have a registered account on Etsy.com. If you made a purchase using Guest Checkout, you can still take advantage of Etsy Purchase Guarantee, but you must register an account first.

In order to initiate a claim, your account must be in good standing, meaning that you are following Etsy's policies and not suspended for any reason.

Ineligible Items and Transactions

Subscriptions or other transactions in which you submit a single payment for recurring deliveries (like item-of-the-month clubs).
Transactions processed outside of Etsy Payments, for example, through standalone PayPal, personal check, or money order.

Sorry, no. If you found me on Etsy, you'll have to purchase from me on Etsy. Etsy can process credit and debit cards. And for your peace of mind, I don't have access to your credit card number.

How do I redeem an Etsy gift card?
My answer is copied and pasted from Etsy's own policy.

"Etsy Gift Cards can be redeemed to buy items from participating shops. The item listing and your shopping cart will note whether the shop accepts Etsy Gift Cards as payment. You can filter Search and Browse results to find items from participating shops."

"In order to use an Etsy Gift Card to purchase items on Etsy, you must be a registered Etsy member and redeem the unique code to apply the Etsy Gift Card value to your account’s gift card balance. Learn more about redeeming an Etsy Gift Card here. You may not redeem an Etsy Gift Card that you have purchased. Once an Etsy Gift Card code has been redeemed, it cannot be returned for cash value or transferred to another account."

Etsy has security measures in place to reduce risk and manage any suspicious activity that may occur with payments made through Direct Checkout. All Direct Checkout payments are screened for fraud and available funds.

For buyers, Etsy covers the full purchase price and original shipping costs with a $1,000 USD coverage limit on qualifying Direct Checkout orders."

Do you accept returns?
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
I offer exchanges and returns on all Ready to Ship and made to order covers.
Custom covers, made to order covers that have been personalized with specific dimensions, and washed and dried covers are not returnable.
Impulse buying can lead to returns and alterations. Those have been mentally and physically time consuming for me. It’s vital that I find ways to minimize returns and alterations.
I can’t stress enough the importance of taking time to measure your appliances. *Don’t use measurements you got off websites. Customers who borrow dimensions from websites are the unhappy ones. Please take time to measure the appliance yourself.

Cozy Kitchen Zipper Appliance Covers

In 2007 I began sewing a full line of beautiful handmade small appliance covers.
I created these covers for two main purposes. The first reason is the practical one - to protect the appliance from dust. The second reason is to offer you a stylish storage solution for your countertop small appliances.
I also specialize in quilted zipper toaster covers. I've found the zipper toaster covers solve a problem that many of my customers have. That annoying problem would be bugs and rodents, such as mice.
A lot of my customers are first time buyers to Etsy. They frequently ask me, "How does this work?" Etsy is a community of handmade artists and small business owners. We are interested in establishing long term customer relationships versus quick one time sales.
