Announcement   Welcome to Cozy Kitchen Covers on Etsy.com!

In this store you will find quilted small fabric appliance covers for blenders, can openers, coffee makers, mixers, juicers, food processors, 2 and 4 slice toasters, toaster ovens and crock pots.

I focus on creating quality covers for popular brands of small appliances. Sorry, I'm forbidden to mention brands in my listings, as I have no affiliation with those companies.

FAQ

1. What colors are available?
My reversible quilted cover color options are red, white, black, cream, hunter green, navy blue, khaki, brown, burgundy, sage green and pink. **Color availability depends on my local fabric shop having them in stock. I try to keep about 2-5 yards of each on hand.

2. What is on the other side of reversible covers?
My solid colored reversible covers are the exact same color on either side.

3. Are prints available?
A limited amount of quilted prints are available. My print covers are non-quilted, but they are padded and lined for stability.

4. Custom orders policy :
I do not quilt fabric.
When I create custom covers, I ask for dimensions to be measured by the customer and e-mailed to me. I don't trust copied and pasted dimensions from a retailer or manufacturer's website. From experience (for whatever reason) those measurements tend to be off.
I like dimensions given to me in terms of height, width across the front , and depth front to back. Please specify if you want a rectangular or round cover. For oval and circular covers I require the circumference measurement and height.
I then create covers based on the dimensions you provide and add an additional 3/4" to 1 inch for seam allowance depending on whether there's trim to be added to covers.
Covers can be ordered in either an oval, circle or rectangular design. When ordering first specify the shape being ordered. (i.e. circle, oval or rectangle) Then supply the proper dimensions needed.
Hand made items are crafted with care and take time. I do my best to fill orders in a timely fashion however there are those unforeseen delays from time to time. Like many individuals today I do my best to balance family and work. Cozy Kitchen Covers provides a secondary supplemental income.

5. "Can we just skip the website and I'll call in my order and you take my credit card information? "
Answer - Sorry, no, If you found me on Etsy, you'll have to purchase from me on Etsy. Etsy can process credit and debit cards. For your peace of mind, I don't have access to credit card numbers.

6. What form of payments do you accept?
Answer - I prefer Etsy to process payments because you and I have their buyer/seller protection. I accept Pay Pal. Pay Pal also offers a dispute process, but I would rather keep everything with Etsy should something go wrong. I also accept credit and debit cards with the Etsy checkout.
I also accept U.S. money orders and checks from U.S. banks.
Etsy will guarantee buyer protection under certain conditions.
I have copied and pasted their policy set June 5, 2017
"You can take advantage of the Etsy Purchase Guarantee to get the item you ordered or your money back if you don’t receive an item (non-delivery) or your item is not as described.

Non-Delivery

A non-delivery occurs when you place an order and submit payment but do not receive your item. The following are examples of non-delivery cases:

An item was never sent.
An item was not sent to the address provided on Etsy.
There is no proof that the item was shipped to your address.
Not as Described

An item is not as described if it is materially different from the listing description or photos. The following are examples of not as described cases:

The item received is a different color, model, version, or size than is shown in the photo or described in the listing.
The item has a different design or material.
The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic.
The seller failed to disclose the fact that an item is damaged or is missing parts.
The quantity of items you ordered was not what you received. For example, you purchased three items but only received two.
The condition of the item is misrepresented. For example, the description at the time of purchase said the item was "new" and the item is used.
Not as described cases can also be filed for late delivery. In order to qualify as late delivery, you must provide proof that all of these conditions have been met:
The item(s) were ordered for a specific date or event.
A deadline was agreed upon by the buyer and seller.
The item(s) are rendered useless after that date.
2. How to Use Etsy Purchase Guarantee Benefits

We recommend that you first contact the seller directly to try to reach a resolution. Most sellers have their own shop policies and are eager to address issues like these.

If you've reached out to the seller and haven't heard back, or if you're unable to resolve your issue together, you can file what's known as a "case." Click here to read more about Etsy's case system.

As long as you participate in the case and follow Etsy admin instructions, we'll work to make sure that you receive either the item that you ordered or a full refund of the purchase price and original shipping costs.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for Etsy Purchase Guarantee coverage, you must have a registered account on Etsy.com. If you made a purchase using Guest Checkout, you can still take advantage of Etsy Purchase Guarantee, but you must register an account first.

Also, your purchases must be processed through Etsy Payments, and you must be within Etsy's case eligibility window. Click here to learn more about Etsy's case eligibility.

In order to initiate a claim, your account must be in good standing, meaning that you are following Etsy's policies and not suspended for any reason.

4. Ineligible Items and Transactions

While most items and transactions qualify for Etsy Purchase Guarantee, there are a few exceptions:

Items purchased in person via the Sell on Etsy app.
Subscriptions or other transactions in which you submit a single payment for recurring deliveries (like item-of-the-month clubs).
Transactions processed outside of Etsy Payments, for example, through standalone PayPal, personal check, or money order.
Items that were properly described, but you changed your mind and no longer want the item after you receive it.
Items that are lost, damaged, or delayed due to shipping carrier error or forces outside of the seller's control.
Items that are prohibited on Etsy, including intangible items or services.
Items that are returned without a return agreement (also called forced returns).
Items that have been altered, used, worn or washed after receiving.
Disputes about the cost of shipping, customs, or taxes.
Transactions where you have filed a chargeback with your credit card company or already received a refund.

7. How do I redeem an Etsy gift card?
My answer is copied and pasted from Etsy's own policy.

"Etsy Gift Cards can be redeemed to buy items from participating shops. The item listing and your shopping cart will note whether the shop accepts Etsy Gift Cards as payment. You can filter Search and Browse results to find items from participating shops."

"In order to use an Etsy Gift Card to purchase items on Etsy, you must be a registered Etsy member and redeem the unique code to apply the Etsy Gift Card value to your account’s gift card balance. Learn more about redeeming an Etsy Gift Card here. You may not redeem an Etsy Gift Card that you have purchased. Once an Etsy Gift Card code has been redeemed, it cannot be returned for cash value or transferred to another account."

"In the event your order total is less than your existing gift card balance, the remainder of the balance will stay in your account’s gift card balance to be used for future purchases. You may use your gift card balance toward orders from participating shops on Etsy."

"In the event your order total is more than your existing gift card balance, the remainder of your order total must be paid with a credit card through Etsy’s Direct Checkout. "

"At checkout, you have the option to apply your gift card balance to eligible orders. Your gift card balance cannot be used to pay an Etsy bill, buy another Etsy Gift Card, or make a purchase from a shop that does not accept Direct Checkout."

7. Is there a secure checkout?
Answer - I copied and pasted Etsy's direct checkout policy -

"All credit card information sent to Etsy is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL), and once received, it is stored in a PCI compliant environment. This data is not shared between buyers and sellers.

Etsy follows generally accepted industry standards to protect other personal information that's submitted to us, both during transmission and after Etsy receives it.

Etsy has security measures in place to reduce risk and manage any suspicious activity that may occur with payments made through Direct Checkout. All Direct Checkout payments are screened for fraud and available funds.

For buyers, Etsy covers the full purchase price and original shipping costs with a $1,000 USD coverage limit on qualifying Direct Checkout orders."

8. Anything that was labeled and purchased as "Ready to Ship" or "Made To Order" I'm fine with those returns. I can easily resell those. Custom orders that are personalized either by specific dimensions or monogramming are not returnable or resellable.

This is the 3rd order & 4th cover I have purchased from Cozy Kitchen Covers since January 2014. This purchase was for a custom cover for my Instant Pot Ultra 60 (6 quart). If you are looking to purchase a similar one, I would slightly shorten the length and diameter. My measurements for my custom orders have tended to be on the large size, but that is my doing, definitely not Jennifer's. She provides expert instruction and reminders on custom measurements; however, I tend to measure big. It still works perfectly! Jennifer is prompt in her communication, creates a high quality product, and gets your item to you quick! Each time I have a new appliance that needs to be covered, I immediately think of Jennifer. I will keep coming back to Cozy Kitchen Covers, because I have come to expect a superb customer experience!

About

How Jennifer started Cozy Kitchen Covers

I got my start on E-bay in 2007 after my daughter was born. She was a colicky baby and it was not going to be possible for me to return to work. I needed to find a way to make money and stay home to take care of her.
I decided it was my practical, yet colorful mixer covers. I knew that was the product I needed to sell on-line.
The mixer covers that I made to sell on E-bay sold with no trouble. Looking back, I probably didn't charge enough...but it was money for food, clothing and small expenditures.
I wasn't happy with E-bay's fee structure at that time however. I had discovered Etsy and I really liked the artist community at Etsy and also LOVED how reasonable it was to open a shop and sell items.
Again, I tried selling my one-of-a-kind items on Etsy first, but that failed. They sold better and quicker in person at craft shows. The appliance covers however took off quickly on Etsy. My original Etsy store, Jenniferscraftstore is still operating with some of my vintage items and one-of-a-kind artworks. I spun off Cozy Kitchen Covers to build an identity for the product. It worked!
For now, Cozy Kitchen Covers is a part time career for me. Even though it's part time, I take it VERY seriously because I do depend on the income.
The future of the business is being planned so that in a few short years I'll be able to step into it full time.
Follow my shop on Twitter (Cozykitchcovers), Facebook and Instagram for all the shop updates!
