Mother-Daughter team decides to try something new...
In October 2013 we had independently come to the decision that we needed a creative outlet. After perusing a local thrift store we kept saying that we could make nicer clothes than we were seeing on the clothes racks, and so we started making clothing! We started by making baby items, then moved on to dresses and skirts. We went to a few craft fairs but always felt limited by having to choose one thing to bring with us.
We opened Cracking Good Crafts in October 2013 because we needed a creative outlet. By May 2014 we realized that the things we wanted to make were too broad for just one shop, so we decided on a laugh to open another one... and another one... and another one (you get the idea!). As of October 2014 we are up to 7 shops with plans to open more soon!

I'm primarily the day-to-day person behind the shop. I do the photography, handle any of your questions, and post to social media. My secondary role is as a creator. I also make your custom orders and ship your package out to you.

I'm the right brain creative butterfly. I create in whatever medium appeals to me that day, and I create the digital elements you see on the store and on social media. I built our website and maintain it. I also have a day job as a graphic designer.

Returns and exchange details
We make every effort to protect your product during shipping, but if an item arrives in poor shape it is due to shipping hazards beyond our control. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping. If you are concerned we recommend that you arrange for shipping insurance by contacting us prior to purchasing an item. If, however, an item does not function as described in the listing, please contact us immediately so that we can understand and resolve the problem. This is dealt with on a case-by-case basis, so there is no blanket refund policy.
If there is a delay or expectation of delay in shipping your item (more than 2 business days from receipt of payment), we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you 3 options: full refund and cancellation of the order, full refund of the shipping cost, or free upgraded shipping (where available). Once we have your response we will proceed with the order as you have specified.
We do not refund money for custom orders for any reason. We will, however, work with you to resolve any problems that have occurred. Please take this into consideration before ordering a custom item!

We reserve the right to change our minds at any point, but what you see written here is what we are using currently.
Shipping
All items are sent from the Philadelphia area, so it should take 1-3 days to ship to the East Coast, 2-4 days to the Midwest, and 3-7 days to the West Coast. If you would like faster shipping or extra shipping services (such as insurance or tracking), please contact us before placing an order so that we can set up those options for you before submitting your purchase. Please be aware that some extra shipping options will cost extra.
We are happy to ship internationally. For an accurate quote, please contact us. We will send you more detailed information once we have processed you purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
All products are sent in ready-to-gift packaging, leaving a smile on your face even if you are giving our products to someone else. All packaging is eco-friendly and can be reused or recycled once opened.
