Fine woodworking and Modern Design, handcrafted in Wakefield, Quebec.

Everyone has a story, so here’s mine... I started out as a biathlon coach, I worked with all levels, even went to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Then I met my wife, we fell in love, and had a baby. We both wanted a change in our careers, so we sold everything, packed a couple of bags and the three of us moved to Paris. My wife became a pastry chef while I wandered the streets pushing a stroller and taking pictures. When we returned to Canada we searched long and hard for somewhere to live. We ended up in Wakefield, Quebec, a small village of artists North of Ottawa. We found a house and lived in the back while we converted the front into a Pastry shop and the garage into a woodworking studio. Now we both work from home and have jobs flexible enough to keep up with our busy daughter. When you purchase one of my pieces you are not only supporting a small family, but you’re helping us live our dreams.

Please check out my blog and Facebook page as I'm constantly updating them with images of new items and works in progress.

I've been an avid maker and designer my whole life, but after a career coaching amateur sport at the Olympic level, I was ready for a change of pace. I now design and create modern products out of wood.

Welcome to Craft Collective, my online shop for selling my Fine Woodworking. I am fortunate to live and work in Wakefield, Quebec, a beautiful town with lots of artists, situated on the Gatineau River. This incredible wilderness outside my door is a great inspiration to my projects as well as a source for the materials used to create them.

I make every effort to use locally and sustainably sourced wood in all of my projects, thus reducing the impact on the environment. I feel I am fortunate to live in an area with a variety of wood species and love to show case what is available locally.

Woodworking projects come in a variety of materials, please read the descriptions of individual items for more details. Some projects can be modified to suit your needs, please ask before purchasing as this may affect the price.
